Nearly every entry in the Final Fantasy franchise holds a lot of quests for players to partake in. Some involve trivial tasks like obtaining items for village residents, while others focus on annihilating large monsters all for the sake of saving the day. It’s definitely likely that upon your first playthrough of any Final Fantasy game, you probably missed a lot of quests unless you did your research online beforehand.

Now, with some of the quests I’m going to mention, some of you will probably look at me and call me an idiot. But you also have to bear in mind that back in the day, a lot of people didn’t know how to obtain Yuffie as a party member in VII. Heck, it took 13 years for gamers to learn about a hidden quest in IX. You know that’s a good game when people are just now learning about it.

So basically, I hope that this story will give you better insight on what quests you should look into playing when it comes to enjoying a Final Fantasy game. Or if you just want to rush through the game without completing any meaningful quests, that’s fine, too. But a lot of quests in Final Fantasy really do add to the story, especially those that involve adding party members to your game. More than anything, I hope this at least gives you some more information on quests you can do while playing some really great games.
