Really, Adult Swim and shows that are cartoons (but not for kids) are just us wishing we could still watch and enjoy the shows on Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network like when we were little humans. Some of us decided not to grow up entirely and keep watching Saturday morning cartoons as a way to not let the world of adults eat us alive.
Nickelodeon may not be a video game company, but if there is anything that deserves to stand alongside video games, it’s cartoons. That also includes anime. Nickelodeon made for many of our childhoods, and is remembered fondly next to other greats like Disney Channel and Cartoon Network. Nickelodeon not only had some of the most memorable shows, but truthfully, those shows were funnier than most things that the other networks put out.

The awesome thing about this meme is that it’s something many of us just missed when watching the show. Most of the time people go back to shows they watched when they were younger and realize one of two things: that the show was complete and utter garbage, or that is was entirely inappropriate for our small, tiny, near-infantile eyes.
But anything we missed when we were younger consciously may have hit us in the dark deep unconscious.

Not really sure what is going on with the rangers nowadays with all their crazy new forms and whatnot; we honestly can’t keep up.
They were ninjas and then samurai. It seems like these TV shows sort of follow some chumpy formula set long ago. The Ninja Turtles went through a few changes too. Now that’s a fun fight we’d like to watch! Leo and the boys vs the Rangers of Power. Where would the bout be held? In the sewers? Or in the streets. Either way, I’m putting my money on Master Splinter showing up and wrecking everyone anyway.

Just looking at Patrick’s face we all know the feeling. After a heavy meal of meat and potatoes (and hopefully mac and cheese), there is always room for dessert. This is a fact, and we’re pretty sure we figured out the reason for this. Our bodies know that sugar gives a quick energy boost but often conks out just as fast. A sugar-high, as some kids call it. Sugar is a fast-acting calorie.
So our body is super full from the entire meal we ate and we can barely move.
The body sees some cookies and stuff and thinks that it’s located the item to boost the energy level. The body lusts for the sweet sugar. And so do our sweet little minds.

Chances are everyone who read this caption on the meme read it in Arnold’s voice. And we’re not talking about football head Arnold. We’re talking about the action hero governor guy Arnold. The one who covered himself in mud to battle an alien monster in the jungle after his entire team was wiped out. Arnold saved the world from the predator.
We think it would have been nice if the real Arnold made a guest appearance in the show or something. He could have shown up with a machine gun and yelled some sort of iconic quote at everyone. Telling them to make their way to the chopper or something dumb about jingle bells and being a good dad.

We all dressed up as Quailman at some point in our lives. Unless, of course, you’ve never seen the show and don’t even know who Quailman actually is. In which case you are a terrible person and should donate everything you have to people who watched Doug. Either way, make no mistake. Quailman will steal your girl. And your man.
The easy thing about dressing up as Quailman is that his outfit is in all of our bedrooms.
Maybe not all of us still carry around tighty whiteys, but for those who do, it was probably because you were trying to keep Quailman alive and we salute you. Just throwing a pair of undies over your shorts and stealing your dad’s belt for a crown was enough to get the job done.
24 The Truth Hurts
Not everyone uses those filters because we know that no matter what we do in photos, we will always be ugly goblin people who will never be put on television. The accuracy of this meme hits a lot of people deep in their fragile little egos. The idea of not being beautiful is devastating.
Patrick is hideous. We all know that now, and we also know that he’s a bit overweight for a starfish. And that’s okay, all cartoon characters are beautiful in their own way. But too many people don’t accept that. They constantly lie and alter their image in ways that are pathetic and sad. And we all know it. We all see it. Just go to the gym and you’ll be fine.

The shape of Arnold’s grandpa’s head is nothing short of strange. For those of you who’ve never noticed this, that probably means you’re a normal human. A normal human, as opposed to a sick depraved primitive savage with no regard for the decency of cartoons and children’s minds.
The children don’t notice this garbage because they haven’t yet been subjected to American culture.
All that aside, this dude’s head is a super long idea of what we all know to be disgusting. We can’t really explain much about this photo due to its nature, but for those of you out there reading who get bothered by the shape of a dude’s head, we feel your pain and we want you to know you have a friend who understands.
22 Simpsons Did It
How long has The Simpsons been on the air? Over 25 years, at least. During that time, they’ve made the world accept cartoon comedy. Shows on Fox are pretty controversial due to the nature of the people in charge. But there’s something to be said about their place in network television. ABC and NBC don’t have as many primetime cartoons as Fox does. A show like The Simpsons paved the way for some of the funniest shows on television, while at the same time offering those without Netflix and Hulu something to watch besides Law and Order.
The Simpsons has done pretty much everything and there is an explanation for it. When a show is on the air for such a long time, it has to stay relevant and not become repetitive otherwise viewership will steadily dwindle. That means trying and doing everything. Including predicting the future.

No one wants to make fun of a person for weight. We’ve all eaten food; we know how awesome it is. But we all also know what it feels like to stare into the mirror after a shower and realize somethings don’t wash off with hot water, soap, and tears. DJ Khaled does look like the character from Ahhh! Real Monsters, but that’s only because he’s got some extra love grips to hold on to.

20 Swallow Your Gum
In my high school, gum was illegal. No matter what moment of the school day you were walking around, is some teacher saw you with gum, they’d make you spit it out or threaten you with punishment. So we all got good at chewing secretly and lying. Not being able to chew gum is trivial and so is high school.
Even still, when you had gum in this era, everyone wanted a piece. Maybe it was the allure of doing something wrong, or maybe it was because they were so bored at school that chewing on something would make things better. But we all know the real reason is that we all forget to brush our teeth in the morning because apparently, we’re still cave dwellers.

Action Team Now! is one of those shows that many of us forget as we grow older. We praise Robot Chicken for its greatness, but where did the idea truly come from? It came from 80s and 90s nerds like us who thought it’d be funny to find a way to still play with action figures and clay.

Does everyone remember Donkeylips? He was the fat guy on the show who made us all laugh simply because he wore bigger shirts. He was no Cartman, but then again, who is? Salute Your Shorts was one of those shows that wouldn’t really be great as adults. When we were kids, we all wanted to go to that camp and talk about nothing all day.
Now that we’re older we have to worry about things and have lots of responsibilities.
Anyways, what you might not know about Donkeylips is that he has dabbled in several things since the show aired. This includes a Soundcloud rap career because that seems to be what all the kids are doing these days. It didn’t seem to take off for him, though.
17 Daddy, Can I Have Some Salt?
A friend of mine said that his sister was placed in this scenario once a whole back but he was not there to see it. Instead, his younger brother relayed the story to us. It all has to do with the culture of Latina women and their attribute of calling their male companion Papi or Daddy. The same happens with Latino males calling their female companions mami. It’s important to note that they are not calling their companions father, mommy, or mother. Because that would just be weird.
Anyway, my buddy’s sister asked her boyfriend to pass her something but she used the daddy term. Both the father and the boyfriend reached at the same time and it was incredibly awkward. For them. For us, it’s hilarious and we hope it happens more.
16 Let Me Get That Phil Fade
Phil was hands down the coolest looking of the Rugrats gang. Chucky was a ginger and we all know they may or may not have souls. Angelica was evil and blonde, Tommy was the hero who we all loved and Lil was sort of a maniac. But Phil was the dopey Bro. He had the bro haircut way before bros were even a thing. Now that we think about it, maybe it was actually Phil that started the bro movement.
The Phil was the first bro that really got stuck in some of these people’s brains.
The true fact of the matter is that there was a kid in my high school who had this exact haircut. It was pretty ridiculous and we never noticed that he was a grown-up version of Phil. But even years later, it’s still hilarious.
15 Equality In Cartoons
What’s funny about this meme is that it’s so wrong. It’s terrible to say that women or girls don’t matter as much because of the fact that they are women or girls. Everyone deserves to think and express themselves in whatever way they choose. The reality is that the women are watching our every move, and when they finally get their chance to strike they are going to destroy the world of men. Sort of like Sauron.
Is there any connection to Sauron and women? Could it be that Sauron was fed up with the way women were treated in this world and that destroying the world of men would bring about a necessary change to the scales of inequality? If you think about it in that way, maybe Sauron wasn’t so bad.
14 Legend Of The Hidden Body
This show was one of the most frustrating 30 minutes of television ever. Those foolish kids and their silver monkeys never made it through the maze fast enough. We’d be sitting on our couches screaming at the television because they weren’t traveling the right way. This show was awesome and the threat felt real. We all wanted to be on this show.
As much as we like the program, if you ever meet someone in real life who has been on the show as a contestant, you have the right to grill them.
Find out which team they were on and how terrible they did. This sort of nonsense needs to be held in check. Cheat. Do something. You have to win and escape the hidden temple. Chances are the losers of the game never made it out.
13 Spreading Awareness
When was it deemed gross or funny to pass gas? Is it really an inherently embarrassing thing to do in public. Old people and babies do it. Yes, mostly because they can’t control themselves, but also probably because they simply do not care about the fallout.
Anyway, back to babies and old peeps. They don’t care about their functions. Babies don’t even know that they’re doing anything wrong, and old people have just done it so many times in their lives and done so many embarrassing things that they simply don’t bother with the embarrassment. That’s probably for the best, honestly!

Before she became Sabrina the Teenage Witch, she was Clarissa and she explained it all. But the reality is that hipster Clarissa only explains 99% of it all because she doesn’t think you deserve to know the whole truth. That is probably the problem with most hipsters in the world. They don’t tell us anything and don’t let us join their gang.
If only we could all become hipsters and ruin the lives of people around us who do not understand the new ways of the world.

This meme is disgusting. How could anyone disrespect SpongeBob like this with such disregard for his beautiful face? His baby blue eyes are the thing of legend. That yellow body is often a piece of the cartoon that inspires happiness and joy, while Squidwirth is something that makes us all sad and angry and realizes that growing up is terrible.
That’s all Squidwirth really represents. The idea and reality that we are all growing older and our young awesome neighbors are so much cooler than us and their lives are way better. We want them to be quiet and not bother us with their silly games. To face swap these two is to turn the world upside down and ruin so many childhoods.
10 Quality Time With CatDog
The rat’s name was Winslow. We all need to recognize that he was one of the best characters in the show. For him to walk out into this scenario is probably a typical day in the life of being a roommate to a monster. Make no mistake, CatDog is a monster. Being their roommate takes a lot of courage and bravery.
But there is probably a lot of idiotic nonsense that occurs as well.
Winslow walks out into the kitchen to see them eating each other and he does the right thing. He watches for a few minutes and takes a mental note and then decides to retreat into his wall hole. Who knows what sort of things a rat like Winslow likes.
