With a heap of Harry Potter comics on the internet, it was only a matter of time before we compiled another list containing hilarious Harry Potter comics. Harry Potter’s journey has come to an end, but even to this day, Harry Potter films and books continue to be enjoyed by many. Despite this list of comics being made for real Harry Potter fans, most of the content can be enjoyed by all.

What is it about Harry Potter books that make them fascinating well after their release? A book such as Beauty and the Beast, which was made into a Disney animated movie and written by French author Gabrielle-Suzanne de Villeneuve, was first published in the year 1740. If novels such as Beauty and the Beast are any indication, we will see Harry Potter continue to be enjoyed for decades and maybe centuries.

Hopefully, we see remakes of the Harry Potter series in the future, and J.K. Rowling provides us with additional books. Fans are dying to learn more about Harry’s life post-Deathly Hallows. The way Rowling concluded the Harry Potter series is not enough. Some of the comics we see here today will address some of Rowling’s cliffhangers and inconsistencies; others will take ruthless shots at Harry Potter characters.

Whether you’re Gryffindor, Slytherin, Hufflepuff, or Ravenclaw, you’ll be laughing out loud after reading these comics. We don’t recommend reading these while drinking a glass of milk. These are 30 Hilarious Harry Potter Comics Only True Fans Will Understand, but everyone needs to see.

30 Instagram Is Not Permitted In Hogwarts

As soon as Hermione received the time turner from Dumbledore, she knew what she wanted to do with it but now how to use it. Dumbledore gave Hermione instructions for that. In this comic, Dumbledore approaches Hermione with an Instagram photo from tomorrow. The sweat droplets dripping from her hair may mean she is in trouble.

It’s a pretty hilarious that Hermione went into the future to take Instagram photos of her and Ron. Few predicted Ron and Hermione’s relationship near the end of the Harry Potter series. Usually, Ron was the third wheel whenever Ron, Harry, and Hermione got together. J.K. Rowling once admitted that she wishes Harry and Hermione would have ended up together instead of Ron and Hermione. Who do you think Harry should have ended up with?

29 Teenage Drama At Hogwarts

How sorry Harry Potter feels for himself throughout the books and movies is utterly repulsive. Harry thinks his life is the worst because he has to live with the Dursleys and sleep in the cupboard under the stairs. Harry Potter is often seen on Hogwarts’ grounds complaining about various issues such as the way Professor Snape speaks to him, how truths about Voldemort can be hidden from him, and even Draco’s treatment of Mudbloods.

Since when does anyone like Malfoy?

In actuality, the whole gang has had their moments of frustration. In Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Hermione cried in the bathroom while next to Moaning Myrtle. Draco Malfoy’s impersonation of Harry Potter reminds us of how often Harry feels sorry for himself. Harry’s parents left him a considerable fortune, and he is the most famous wizard in the wizarding world. Jeez, try to see the bright side, Harry.

28 Pokémon Comes To Hogwarts

A percentage of Pokémon players were surprised to learn that the Avada Kedavra spell was the most powerful spell in Harry Potter and that it could end lives in an instant. The fact it was named the Avada Kedavra spell reminds us of Abra and Kadabra in Pokémon.

Gotta catch ’em all. Look out Ron!

Abra and Kadabra are part of the same evolution line, so they are essentially the same Pokémon species. Abra and Kadabra’s names sound remarkably similar to the Avada Kedavra spell. It is uncertain when or where the term “Abra Kadabra” originated, but it wasn’t in Pokémon. “Abra Kabra” is a supervillain in DC comics and is often associated with magicians. Harry and Ron got more than they bargained for when playing Pokémon on Game Boy. It is safe to assume Ron won’t be catching ’em all.

27 FLUFFLEPUFF!!!

The creator of this comic ingeniously decided to change the Hogwarts house name of “Hufflepuff” to the name “Flufflepuff.” This new made-up house apparently uses creatures that resemble a Furby to teach classes. How powerful the magic of these Flufflepuff teachers are and if they are made of cotton candy is unknown. It is known, however, that they are incredibly soft and have a hatred for the students that they teach.

Hogwarts needs to re-examine their hiring process

See how this furball slurped its tongue towards a classroom full of students! Absolutely vial behavior (maybe even worse than Professor Snape). Hogwarts houses allow for students to learn team cohesion and coordination. Each house member is said to be like-minded. Who wouldn’t want to join Flufflepuff?

26 Oh Wow, It’s Harry

Who wouldn’t go crazy if they ran into Harry Potter? We probably haven’t seen enough scenes of people witnessing Harry Potter and his lightning bolt scar for the first time, and as a result, they were completely flabbergasted. Most children in the Harry Potter universe grow up hearing story after story about “the boy who lived” and how he defeated Lord Voldemort when no one else could.

Since the boy who meets Harry Potter in this photo has freckles and is holding a rat, we can assume it’s Ron Weasley. The scene has a painting in the back, so the comic is not a scene taken from the movie. Ron Weasley’s priceless reaction makes this comic one for the ages.

25 Go Back To The Shadow!

Gandalf from Lord of the Rings would be too funny as a professor at Hogwarts. His advanced wizardry knowledge would make him one of the most effective teachers. Gandalf has combatted fiery demons and white wizards; his resume would meet the requirements to become a Hogwarts teacher.

Can’t be worse than Gilderoy Lockhart.

Gandalf’s most famous line, “You shall not pass,” was shouted during a fight with a Balrog demon in Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring. Compared to wizards and witches in the Harry Potter universe, Gandalf’s spells which seemed powerful would be put to shame. An Avada Kedavra spell is capable of ending the life of a victim in an instant. The most Gandalf could do is make a bridge collapse and become extremely tired after doing so.

24 Lord Voldemort’s Knock-Knock Joke

Harry was caught in one of Voldemort’s traps when he answered Voldemort’s cruel knock-knock joke. The effect Voldemort’s knock-knock joke bestowed onto Harry seems to be the equivalent of a “Stupefy” spell. There is no way Harry foresaw the idiocracy that is this joke being told to him during a battle with the Dark Lord himself.

Lord Voldemort is usually enraged during battled with Harry, and will sometimes show an evil grin, but never before have we seen Lord Voldemort deliver a stunning knock-knock joke in the middle of a clash with Harry Potter! The overwhelmed and zany expression on Harry’s face at the end of this comic made the comic stand out. Lord Voldemort is a master of the dark arts, and evidently, he is a master of dark humor as well.

23 Whose Side Is Professor Snape On, Anyway?

No matter how much you try to justify Professor Snape’s actions and try to believe he was a sincerely “good” character, you can’t ignore that several of his actions were exceedingly questionable. During Professor Snape’s childhood, he had an unhealthy fascination with Lily Potter, Harry Potter’s mom. Why everyone kept this information from Harry for so long is ridiculous.

Dumbledore tries to enrage Professor Snape by making fun of his childhood crush who he never romanticized. The scene depicted in this comic refers to when Professor Snape and Malfoy cornered Dumbledore, and Snape cast an Avada Kedavra spell on Dumbledore. Somehow Dumbledore survives the Avada Kedavra but putting that flaw aside, Dumbledore’s joke hits the mark in this clever comic.

22 The Spoils Of Having A Twin Brother

Harry Potter’s most admired twins are some of the wackiest characters in Harry Potter. Their practical joke and mannerisms make them stand out in scenes. This comic shows a hypothetical situation that involves Fred and George gifting each other presents. Fred and George knew exactly what each other wanted, and somehow they coincidentally speak at the same time.

The perks of having a twin!

There is not much meaning behind this comic. It is merely a cute comic that is jubilant and satirical. The light nature of this comic makes it highly enjoyable and earns it a spot on this list of hilarious comics. Both Fred and George are into practical jokes, so naturally, each would buy the other a ZONKO’S box of jokes.

21 Lovebirds Connect, Literally

This comedic comic is too funny for words. Throughout the Harry Potter series, audiences and readers crept to the edges of their seats or clenched their books tight, wondering who Harry Potter would end up with by the end of the book. Harry Potter was famous in the wizarding world and was desired by many women. It was possible witch Cho Chang could have ended up with Harry. Cho Chang and Harry spoke often, and they even kissed before.

J.K. Rowling has gone on the record saying she wishes Harry Potter would have gotten together with Hermione instead of Ginny Weasley. This comic creator provides an alternative to the usual possibilities and says that Hedwig ends up with Harry Potter! This notion is disturbing, immoral, and insensitive. But somehow, it’s too funny for words.

20 Professor Snape Needs To Let Things Go

Professor Snape is not the most adored professor in the world; he is creepy, to say the least. Harry went through years of being tormented by his professor, and we later found out it was partly because Harry’s mom didn’t want to date Professor Snape. Professor Snape’s unhealthy obsession with Harry’s mom festered inside him into his adulthood.

Nobody could have guessed how Professor Snape progressed throughout the story. Actions involving heartbreak, deception, and dark magic were what led to Professor Snape’s downfall. Snape claimed justice was his motivation, he claimed to help Lord Voldemort was a reason for his actions, and he changed sides several times. But it is most likely Professor Snape did the things he did because he had a thing for Harry’s mom!

19 Probably The Untold True Story

Those who knew Harry and his parents kept the truth from Harry at the risk of ruining his childhood and emotionally scarring a child. To have told Harry all the facts at once would have been far too much for him to handle. As we all know, Harry has a lightning bolt scar on his forehead. The comic we see here today suggests that Harry’s scar was not created by some freak accident that cannot be explained, but rather that Dumbledore purposely dropped Harry.

Dumbledore dropped baby Harry in front of the Dursley’s house because he is a disturbed, old man.

Dumbledore looks more like Santa Claus in this comic for some reason. Everything about this comic is random but somehow hilarious. “Your exams are cancelled.”

18 What Is Your Deepest Desire?

The Mirror of Erised shows ones deepest desires when they stand in front and look into it. “Erised” backward is the word “Desire.” Most students do not venture into the area of the castle that contains the Mirror of Erised, but Harry Potter and other students have. We all have deep desires and wanting to be in the Harry Potter universe is probably common.

The student we see in this photo is unknown, but it may be Ginny with black hair or Hermione. Most likely, it is a made up character in the Harry Potter universe. Hilariously, we find out that this student’s deepest desire is to eat chicken nuggets. Like the character in this comic, Harry Potter once tried to lie about what he saw in the mirror.

17 The Heir Of Slytherin Has Friendship Problems

Most of the other students have revered Harry Potter for how he defeated He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named A.K.A Lord Voldemort. Likely some of the other people who knew Harry sensed abnormalities about him. As a child who was isolated in a cupboard under the stairs, Harry probably didn’t have the best social skills. Harry was completely unaware that when he talked to snakes, he was speaking Parseltongue, which would sound devilish to people near him.

This comic hilariously paints Harry as an oddball in front of this animal habitat. People walking by are taken back by what Harry is doing. For some reason, Harry whines about everything wrong in his life. Talking to snakes probably won’t solve those issues.

16 Hogwarts Is Not Equipped For Babies

If you ever went to a High School dance, you probably noticed something that seemed a bit off. Numerous teachers and often the principal, watch the students as they dance. A student who begins to twerk or grab certain parts of the opposite gender is usually unacceptable depending on which school you went to.

There must not be a protection spell that will protect students from having babies.

Dumbledore subtly tries to inform Hermione that the “Krum guy” may be trying to do something with Hermione! A student pregnancy is unheard of in the books, but with hormones present throughout students, it must have happened at least once. Did this comic go too far? Let us know in the comments section!

15 Nobody Ever Said Professor Snape Was A Favorable Potions Master

This comic affirms our suspicions that Professor Snape is a sick and disturbed man. For some reason, he always wears black, and he is always trying to tease students who don’t belong to Slytherin. Later in the story, we learn that Professor Snape had been secretly acting in Harry’s best interests because he loved Harry’s mom, but some of his actions might outweigh what Snape had thought.

Dumbledore doesn’t see what goes on behind the scenes, and he probably thinks Professor Snape is a responsible teacher. Even if Dumbledore knew what was going on, he probably wouldn’t care because he had planned to leave Harry to be slaughtered the whole time. Professor Snape wants to put lipstick and a wig on Harry. This comic went too far!

14 Don’t Disturb Dumbledore

Hermione always seems to have an issue that is different from other students’ issues. To Hermione’s credit, she is probably the smartest student in all of Hogwarts. Hermione doesn’t seem to see the importance of Divination class in this comic. Hermione thinks that reading tea leaves is a waste of her productive time. Dumbledore, on the other hand, feels that reading tea leaves in Divination is essential and works.

Hermione’s face is hidden for some reason.

Dumbledore’s comments such as saying the tea leaves are a muddy color and very smelly crossed some boundaries. If we understand this comic correctly, Dumbledore is attempting to put down Hermione for being a mud-blood (non-magic parents). Did you notice Dumbledore’s cup says “Wingardium Levi-Leave”?

13 Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix: The End

This comic gives us an alternate plotline to Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. The Order of the Phoenix was not a group of like-minded wizards like in the books according to this comic. The Order of the Phoenix evidently was an order from a phoenix at an upper-scale restaurant.

We prefer the original story.

After graduation, Harry was in dire need of a job. This comic reveals that Harry ended up as a waiter and served steaks to flaming phoenixes. Why the chair below this phoenix did not burst into flames is unknown. This comic is kind of funny, but it could have been longer. We are learning that the bar is really low for Harry Potter comics, and this one passes as an acceptable Harry Potter comic.

12 Draco Malfoy Is Partly A Vampire

Draco Malfoy always had more pale skin than the other children. Some believe he is a character who is better suited for the Twilight series. Even his name of Draco is somewhat vampirish. Only a vampire would burst into flames when exposed to the sun. We see Malfoy at the end of the movie with children attending Hogwarts. Apparently, the new Headmaster doesn’t care that Malfoy tried to slay the last Headmaster and that Malfoy sided with Lord Voldemort.

This comic writer seems to believe that Draco is more vampirish than a wizard. Draco Malfoy sits in the sun for a few seconds and bursts into flames. Since Dobby the house servant was taken from the Malfoy family, they must have hired a butler to replace him. Malfoy is too good for SPF-50 lotion… He bursts into flames because he must be a vampire.

11 Let Me Speak With The Boy!

Harry Potter was eleven years old, and so was Daniel Radcliffe in Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. For some reason, this comic illustrator draws Harry as someone who looks like they are eighteen and works in a comic book store. The climatic ending of the film contained a battle between Harry and Professor Quirrell who turned out to be embodying Lord Voldemort.

This satirical comic takes a spin on the original scene of the movie. Instead of Lord Voldemort giving a long speech about who he is. He says “Gimme the stone, kid.” Because the line is short and repugnant, it is kind of funny. We would expect Voldemort to take a different approach, but for some reason, he just says the same thing and probably louder. Harry is sweating profusely because of the added pressure.
