Yoreeka Studio had the end of going at the end of E3 2021, with only GameSpot’s showcase and E3’s awards show behind it. The indie studio released the excellent Streets of Rage 4 in China, so expect some other fun and colorful indies from its event. In fact, we have all eight of them here, and half can be demoed right now on Steam Next Fest. So let’s dive in to all the games shown at Yoreeka Studio’s E3 stream.

Loopmancer

Coming out towards the end of this year, Loopmancer is a metroidvania Cyberpunk game with elements of platforming and puzzle-solving. Also there’s lots of sword fighting and something of a samurai theme.

Extremely Realistic Siege Warfare Simulator

ERSWS for short, this game is due out at the beginning of next year. Despite the silly title, there is a tactical element to using siege weapons properly to overthrow a tyrant. But physics will be in play, so expect a lot of silly videos to come out of this one.

Metal Mind

You know what roguelites have been missing? Robots! Mechs, in particular. Metal Mind will fix that by adding top-down shooting gameplay and customized suit builds to the popular genre. It will release in Q1 2022.

The Swordsmen X: Survival

The Swordsmen X: Survival gives off Ghost of Tsushima vibes, placing the player in the shoes of a lone swordsman in an open world. Aside from combat and exploration, players can create their own martial art and maintain a homestead. We’ll see if it pays off on its promise later this year.

Tales of Wild

The description of this MMO mentions crafting, gathering, building, and other elements associated with survival games. But the trailer shows lots of fighting monsters and even siege weapons. So what will it be? We’ll need to wait for early 2022 to find out.

The Immortal Mayor

This builder and management sim is one of the few that explains how you can maintain your society over generations - you’re a local god. As you guide your humans through their lives, you can ally with other gods and use magic to help your little ones along. It comes out around Fall 2021.

Reshaping Mars

Going from ancient times to sci-fi, we have Reshaping Mars. Like Immortal Mayor, this one comes out in Q3 2021. As the name implies, its a sim game about establishing and maintaining a colony on the Red Planet.

Mohism

Mohism has an interesting blend of Wuxia martial arts and detective investigation. Rather than kick your foes to death, you’ll be gathering clues and interrogating suspects to put people away. It is supposed to come out in Q1 2022.
