Are you a hardcore trophy collector and just picked up Marvel’s Spider-Man for the first time?  Well, you came to the right place!  Trophy hunting can be hard work.  It can be even harder due to the fact that you might not even know what you’re looking for because of those pesky hidden trophies.  Well, fear not, fellow hunters!  This list has been created for those of you who wish to take a peek behind the curtain.

Luckily, most of these hidden trophies are stuff you’ll naturally stumble upon as a you progress through the game (most are there just to avoid spoiling the campaign), but there are a few hidden trophies that you might have to go out of your way to collect.  So with that in mind, here are all the hidden trophies in Marvel’s Spider-Man and how to get them.

26 Demons Emerge

Let’s start with the achievements that come from just playing the game.  “Demons Emerge” will likely be the one of the first hidden trophies you collect.  To get this trophy, all you have to do is complete Act 1 of the campaign, which you’ll do if you just play the main story.  Since this is pretty much what you bought the game to do, you’ll get this one in no time. Unless you get easily distracted by side quests and random crimes.

25 Knocking Down Kingpin

“Knocking Down Kingpin” can be obtained by defeating the Kingpin in the first mission of the campaign.  Since the first mission is basically a tutorial, you shouldn’t have much trouble taking the big guy down once you get used to the controls.

The hardest part is learning how to balance fighting the regular thugs you’ve encountered up to this point with a much larger opponent.  Your first fight with a big guy like Kingpin might provide some difficulty, but rest assured that future encounters with similarly large enemies will be much easier.  So once you take down your first supervillain, congratulations!  You’ve officially earned your first hidden bronze trophy!

24 Shock And Awe

This hidden bronze trophy comes from taking down the second supervillain you’ll run into in Act 1, The Shocker!  This fight takes place in a large bank so swinging around to avoid his attacks isn’t particularly difficult. Just wait for your moments of opportunity to launch debris and throw a few punches his way.

Soon enough, you’ll have an opportunity to drop the chandelier on him and the fight (as well as the trophy) is yours!  As long as you make good use of your web swings and spider-sense, you shouldn’t have much trouble taking this villain down.  Shocker is definitely one of the easier boss fights in the game.

23 The Six Assemble

Now that you have all the hidden trophies that can be obtained by completing Act 1, let’s move on to “The Six Assemble.”  This is the bronze trophy you can unlock by completing Act 2 of the game’s story.  Since a majority of Act 2 is about dealing with the threat of Mister Negative, you won’t encounter many villains to earn hidden trophies off of.  So it’s very likely that this is the next hidden trophy you’ll get after “Shock and Awe” unless you spend a lot of time on side quests.

The end of Act 2 happens around the time you meet The Sinister Six at the conclusion of the 36th story mission, “Out of the Frying Pan.”  As previously mentioned, as long as you don’t get overly distracted by all the side quests and crimes around New York, you should get this one in no time!

22 Grounded

Now that Act 3 has started, it’s time to kick things up a notch!  From here, you’ll be getting a lot of hidden trophies fairly quickly.  This will likely start with the bronze trophy, “Grounded,” which will task you with defeating the first two members of the Sinister 6 you’ll meet, Electro and Vulture.

You’ll stay largely airborne for the duration of the fight.  Both Electro and Vulture will bombard you with electric bolts or sharp projectiles that ensures you’ll be constantly moving.  It doesn’t matter which one you take out first so it’d be wise to focus on one at a time, but always try to be aware of where the other one is.  Keep your wits about you and always look for attack opportunities and these two won’t stand a chance.

21 Sting And Smash

This bronze trophy is earned after you face down the next two members of the Sinister 6, Rhino and Scorpion.  These two have very different fighting styles so it can be heard to really focus on either one without the other one almost immediately getting in the way.

You’re probably better off focusing on the Rhino as much as possible since you have to try harder to get him in position to attack, but just watch out from acid drops from Scorpion.  Be vigilant and precise, and these two will fall like all the others, adding one more trophy to the collection.

20 Staying Positive

Alright, you’ve beaten up the other members of the Sinister 6.  You’ve gotten a hidden trophy for each fight, but now it’s time to get the hidden trophy for fighting one of the game’s central antagonists, Mister Negative, as he reaches his final form.

This battle requires you to stay on your toes as Mister Negative bombards you with arena filling attacks and plenty of minions to keep you distracted.  He’ll often leave himself vulnerable after a series of blows so wait for everything to die down and go for it!  Do this enough times, and you will be victorious, earning yourself this trophy along the way.

19 End Game

At long last, you arrive at the game’s finale.  The only thing standing between you and the “End Game” trophy (which you gain for completing Act 3) is Doctor Octopus.  Beat him, and the bronze trophy is yours.

You’ll want to stay largely airborne for this fight as the rooftop of Oscorp Tower will be a dangerous place to be much of the time.  Octavius will try to attack you directly with his arms or throw multiple projectiles at you at any given moment so it’s a smart policy to just keep moving.  Take advantage of your suit’s ability to refill gadget slots and web the guy up.  Once he’s stunned, go in for a strike to deal massive damage.  Do this enough times and you’ll enter the boss fight’s final stage, which you can pass pretty easily by using your dodge and countering.  Soon, you’ll find that your efforts have all been worthwhile as you defeat Doc Ock once and for all and proceed into the game’s emotional climax.

18 Tombstone Takedown

Now that you’ve earned all the hidden trophies you can get from just playing the main campaign, let’s focus on the hidden trophies you can earn from optional side missions.  Let’s start with “Tombstone Takedown.”  This bronze trophy can earned from completing the “Tombstone” 3-part side story.  During the last mission, “Tombstone: Let’s Get Ready to Rumble,” you’ll be tasked with taking down the villain himself.

You can beat him pretty much the same way as you did the Kingpin, but he does have a few additional tricks up his sleeve that you’ll be able to pick up pretty quick.  Honestly, if you’ve fought enough larger enemies by this point, you’ll probably have little trouble taking him down.

17 Pigeon Hunter

Early on in the game, you can run into a nice man on a rooftop named Howard.  Evidently, you and Howard have met before and he tells you about how most of his pigeons have gone missing.  Being the friendly neighborhood spider that you are, you offer to help him find his pigeons.  This starts the side mission that unlocks the “Pigeon Hunter” trophy.

Luckily, the locations of the pigeons will be highlighted on your map.  The hard part is just chasing them down, because they do not make it easy.  Prove your bird-catching abilities and the bronze trophy is yours.

16 A Bit Of A Fixer-Upper

This one might actually be fairly easy to miss if you’re not paying attention.  One of the first things you’ll do in the campaign when you take on the role of Peter Parker in engage in one of the lab’s puzzle mini-games.  These games task you with either completing a circuit a certain way or identify a chemical component.

As the game progresses, more levels of both mini-games are unlocked and can be accessed at any time you visit the lab.  The chemistry game can be found on the computer to your left as you enter the lab, while the circuit game can be found on the table to your right as your walking in.  Complete all the puzzles and you’ll earn the “A Bit of A Fixer-Upper” bronze trophy.

15 Inner Sanctuary

Okay, that’s enough tedious work for now, back to fighting!  These next few trophies involve clearing out the game’s many faction hideouts.  Each hideout will contain waves and waves of enemies particular to that faction.  Let’s start with the enemies you’ll probably run into the most, the Demons.

Once Mister Negative becomes a major player in the gang war for New York, many of the Demon’s warehouses will become available for you to clear out.  Clear out all of them, and you get the “Inner Sanctuary” trophy.  If you’ve fought the Demons before, you should pretty much know what to expect.  Just watch out for rockets, they have a lot of them.

14 All The King’s Men

Much like “Inner Sanctuary,” this trophy requires that you clear out all of Kingpin’s hideouts scattered throughout the game.  Since Kingpin is the first villain you defeat, his faction is the first one you’re able to take down, and also the easiest.

If you’re really eager to finish off as many side missions as you can before finishing the game, this is one of the earliest ones you have access to.  So if you’re super eager for those hidden trophies, it couldn’t hurt to start here.

13 Back In The Slammer

Much like the previous two entries, “Back in the Slammer” requires you to finish all the prisoner camps that are unlocked after the riot on the Raft.  This one is pretty similar to the other two with the exception that almost all the camps are located on rooftops so it requires a bit of creative movement to reach far-off enemies.  Other than that, if you’re able to complete the other two trophies, this one shouldn’t present too much of a challenge.

12 Mercenary Tactics

Okay, this one is going to hurt.  The requirements for the “Mercenary Tactics” are the same as the other hideout side missions.  You just need to clear out all the Sable Outposts.  The problem is you’re up against Sable agents, and they are tough.

They’re fast, powerful, and can beat you quickly if you’re not paying attention.  Have your gadgets ready, be prepared to go fast and hard, and don’t stop moving until all the agents are down.  But whatever you do, don’t let them gang up on you.  They have the most powerful weapons in the game.  Of all the hideout side missions, this one is the one you’ll likely die the most doing.  Persevere, however, and you’ll earn the last of the hideout silver hidden trophies.

11 Short Fuse

Don’t think the challenging hidden trophies are all done, because now it’s time to talk about the Taskmaster trophies.  About halfway through the game, you’ll be introduced to Taskmaster.  He has a series of challenges spread throughout New York designed to demonstrate your skill.  These trophies require you to earn a rating of “Spectacular” or better on at least one of each (the equivalent of a silver medal).

One of the first challenges you’re introduced to are the bomb challenges in which you need to race to and defuse a series of bombs as quickly as possible.  Speed is the name of the game here.  You’ll need to be super accurate with your webswinging to land exactly where you need to be to reach the bomb.  Quickly dispatch of it and race off to the next one.  This is one of the easier challenges to get a “Spectacular” rating with some practice.  So find one you like and keep practicing until you can nail that perfect score.  Do that, and “Short Fuse” is yours.

10 Fists Of Fury

Another trophy coming from Taskmaster.  “Fists of Fury” requires you to get a ranking of “Spectacular” or better on any of Taskmaster’s fighting challenges.  Unlike the last entry, you don’t necessarily have to go through this challenge quickly to get a Spectacular, but you do need to get through it with style.

So that means you need to vary up your attacks as much as possible while avoiding getting hit at all cost.  So take advantage of gadgets, dodge like hell, and keep that combo up as high as you can and “Fists of Fury” should be yours in no time.

9 Ninja

These next two will probably be the Taskmaster challenges you’ll struggle with the most.  “Ninja” requires you to get a “Spectacular” or better on one of Taskmaster’s stealth missions.  This one requires speed and precision, which means you need to take down all the enemies as fast as you can without being caught.

Again, gadgets are your friends.  The tripwire, in particular, can be a massive aid in getting this achievement.  This might be one where you’ll want to pick which mission you want the “Spectacular” rating on very carefully, as it will likely determine just how hard this trophy will be to get.  Choose your arena wisely, use your gadgets, and go quickly but quietly, and this trophy is within your grasp.

8 Spy Hunter

If this one isn’t the hardest of Taskmaster’s challenges, it’s certainly the most annoying.  “Spy Hunter” requires you to get a “Spectacular” or better on one of Taskmaster’s drone challenges.  They’re basically a race against time to literally jump through hoops that a drone you’re chasing provides.

You better practice your webswinging and web zipping because to get the “Spectacular” rating on any of these, you’re going to need to be an expert on both.  It’d be a good idea to do a few practice runs on these to get a feel for the drone’s path and patterns before seriously going for the trophy.  It’s far from impossible, but you’ll likely need to work harder on this one than some of the others.

7 Challenge Finder

Now that you’ve finished the last few Taskmaster trophies, your next goal should be to get the “Challenge Finder” hidden trophy.  Compared to the other Taskmaster trophies, this one is pretty straightforward.  All you need to do is just finish all the other challenges that are scattered throughout New York.

Since you don’t need to get a “Spectacular” on any of the other challenges, you can do as great or as poorly as you like.  If you just want to get the trophy and don’t care about the challenge tokens, then just shooting for “Amazing” on each one should be an easy way to coast your way to the trophy.
