Fans can dress their Animal Crossing characters as the Mayor they know them to be: Prone to wild mood swings and just wanting to make everyone happy. Players can even dress as one of Oogie Boogie’s trio of troublemakers Lock, Shock, or Barrel.

7 OG & Updated Pennywise

Like some of its peers on this list, the original story of Stephen King’s novel IT has plagued the nights and days of many people regardless of age. The original movie from 1990 has its die-hard (lol?) fans, but so do the remakes from 2017 and 2019 respectively.

4 Five Night’s at Freddy’s Island

Five Nights at Freddy’s technically counts as a video game and not a movie, at least currently. However, as of June 23rd, production is still moving forward on the proposed film. By the end of next year, fans could have a new installment in the franchise.

A staple in the world of horror movies, Stanley Kubrick’s The Shining set the bar when it comes to psychological thrillers. The movie is based on Stephen King’s novel of the same title and was shot in a real hotel in Estes Park, Colorado. Despite the adverse effects on the actors, the film stands out as a favorite among horror fans even today.

Recreate the Overlook Hotel horror with eerie twins and a mad, ax-wielding husband out for blood. Just don’t forget the hedge maze, the tricycle, and villagers who are non-plussed about a haunted hotel.
