The Raymond craze in Animal Crossing is not over, and there is no end in sight yet. Everyone loves this cat! Is it his glasses? His different colored eyes? His office-like house? It seems to be a combination of it all.

Along with the online markets offering Raymond for up to 800 Nook Mile Tickets, there are even artists who are making a profit off of his popularity with fan art.

Here are ten pieces of Raymond fan art.

10 Human Raymond

A popular sub-genre of fan art for Animal Crossing is drawing characters as humans. With his extreme popularity, Raymond has many human designs made by the fandom. The most popular is one where he is a young man, has grey hair and that blonde highlight in the middle.

This art was made by killedken.

9 Taxes

Since Raymond’s house is decorated like an office, a lot of fans joke about what he possibly does. A lot agree that he just teaches other villagers how to do their taxes. In fact, the artist for this piece wrote “I want to hire this weird cat to do my taxes,” under this image.

The artist for this fan art is nightmargin.

8 Glasses

Some fans draw Raymond has a human with blonde hair instead of grey and blonde. The artist for this piece is sleepypotion.

Due to how popular Raymond is, he is usually drawn to be a bishounen (handsome anime man). Though some fans do joke that he probably would look more like your average office guy, like Dwight from The Office.

7 Doodle Page

Here we have many sides of Raymond. There is human Raymond, maid outfit Raymond, stocks rising (or, as the internet elite call it . . . “stonks”), and him being handsome in general. Also, Bob is here for some reason. He is also a fan favorite cat, but in a very different way from Raymond.

6 Happy Human

Raymond is not actually drawn looking this happy that often. That is because his default design is usually frowning or just looking neutral until you talk to him. Then he perks up! What is funny about this piece is that the artist wrote that they don’t even have a Nintendo Switch, but they still love Raymond. It is interesting that he is wearing gloves, as it shows the artist translated his black paws as a human wearing gloves. Very creative!

5 Moving Out

This piece is quite sobering. It sort of portrays the dark side of everyone loving Raymond and selling him over the internet market. In this image, you can see someone trading Nook Mile Tickets for poor Raymond who has no say in the matter. The artist simply wrote under the image, “Moving again,” which means this Raymond has moved before.

The art was made by rinkibu.

4 With Flick

Another new character to come in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, is Flick. He is a red chameleon who buys bugs from you when he visits your island. He is like the opposite of Blathers, and is totally in love and obsessed with any bug you will sell to him.

Due to his punk design and personality, Flick is also quite popular in the fandom. If he could move into players’ islands, maybe he would even be more popular than Raymond? The art was made once again by dotoriii.

3 Cat Villagers

Part of what makes Raymond popular is that he is among one of the most popular species in Animal Crossing, cats! There are many cat villagers with all kinds of personalities. In this art, there are recognizable Animal Crossing faces such as Bob, Ankha, Kid Cat, Lolly, Merry, Mitzi, Moe, Olivia, Punchy, Rudy, Rosie, and Tangy. That is not even all of the cat villagers!

That is one reason why Raymond is a rare villager to hunt down. The game first rolls for the species of animal, and then what individual of that species you get. Since there are so many cats, the chances of Raymond is much slimmer. This art was made by saino.

2 Dress Up

Here we have Raymond in his maid outfit. The fact that he will put on a maid outfit if its given to him has made the online community love him all the more. It is especially cute when he is cleaning his house!

In the game, he is delighted to receive the outfit and puts it on immediately. However, some artists like to show Raymond a little less delighted to be wearing the maid clothes. The artist for this is magicact and they are selling these designs as stickers.

1 Video Games

The artist for this fan art wrote, “Every business cat must have a government-assigned Nintendo Switch. that is the law.”

Raymond looks delighted! The art was made by puppsicle.
