Whether you love him or hate him, it seems that Pietro is here to stay. This sheep clad in clown make-up is one of the most feared and loved characters in Animal Crossing. Fans have long fought over whether Pietro is just a friendly villager or a creature that should be feared. No matter how you feel about this colorful sheep, though, there are some things you need to know about him. In fact, after learning a little bit more about Pietro, players might finally understand that this villager is just misunderstood.
10 His Favorite Song is K.K. Parade
To be completely honest, Pietro’s choice in music makes a lot of sense. We couldn’t see this happy looking sheep listening to K.K. Metal or K. K. Country. Pietro’s favorite song is K. K. Parade, a musical number that sounds like it popped right out of a carnival or games room.
There is nothing even slightly dark about K. K. Parade, and you can easily see Pietro humming to it.
9 He wants to be an Artist
Every villager has aspirations in life, and Pietro is no different. This character doesn’t want to join the carnival or have a career in acting, though. Pietro wants to be an artist, and his favorite activity involves crafting. This isn’t surprising given the perfect clown make-up on his face.
Being an artist can mean anything from doing make-up to making sculptures out clay, both of which Pietro can be imagined doing.
8 Ballon Furniture is His Favorite
The fact that this villager is a clown gives a huge hint to his favorite furniture set. It is shown throughout the core games and Pocket Camp that Pietro loves balloon furniture. In fact, if you don’t craft the balloon furniture set completely in Pocket Camp, then he won’t visit you.
The balloon set seems to be missing from New Horizons so far, but if it’s added, Pietro will probably want it.
7 His Amiibo Card is Expensive
Despite the fan war over Pietro’s looks, he is one of the most popular villagers out there. Pietro is so desired that his Amiibo Card’s price has skyrocketed since the release of New Horizons. The card used to cost around $4 but is now going for over $40 and being bid on around the clock.
Some users have even turned to selling just the Amiibo discs to bring the sheep to your town.
6 He Has Been in Four Games
Pietro is no stranger to the Animal Crossing series, though he didn’t start gaining traction a few years back. Pietro appears in New Leaf as one of the new villagers and is now in New Horizons. In between these games, Pietro also appeared in Pocket Camp and Happy Home Designer.
The fact that he was included in the spin-off and made into a card is proof that Pietro is here to stay.
5 He is Actually a Smug Villager
When you look at Pietro, you would think that he would be a peppy or lazy villager. To almost everyone’s surprise, Pietro is actually a smug villager. This means that he likes to talk himself up. It’s could to know that amongst all the bad press that Pietro can think so highly of himself.
He even regularly loves to inform the rest of the town of how awesome he is, whether they want to hear it or not.
4 He Wants to Live in a Dreamland
Pietro does seem a little out of touch with reality, so it’s no surprise that his request is a little grand. When you play, Happy Home Designer Pietro will state that he wants you to make his house into a dreamland. He even reflects this in the newest games where his flooring is literally a cloud.
This takes away from his previous clown-like nature and makes him seem much more tranquil.
3 He Can be Flirtatious
It’s a known fact that smug villagers speak their mind and aren’t afraid to share their feelings. Since Pietro is a smug villager, this means he also tends to flirt with female players. This is a bit strange since you can’t get married in the game and Pietro is a bit strange.
Even so, the clown sheep has decided to try his luck in the courting game.
2 He’s a Class Clown
Not only does he dress like a clown, but he refers to himself as the class clown. Given the fact that all the villagers own a home, it’s safe to assume that they have already gone through high school. Apparently, Pietro spent most of his time joking around instead of trying to study.
It’s also apparent that even in adulthood, this sheep hasn’t learned how to stop clowning around.
1 He Loves Flashy Clothes
Every villager has a style, and Pietro loves to stand out. His wool is brightly colored, and he loves to wear carnival-like shirts. Some of his favorite gifts are things like the prism shirt and the hot-dog tank. Even the furniture items Pietro likes to be gifted are far from the village norm.
Pietro seems to want to stand out from the crowd and is doing a wonderful job at accomplishing just that.
