The mushroom season will begin in November in Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and many fans have had their eyes on popular items like the coveted mush lamp. Now is a great time to get familiar with the items and what it will take to make them.
Mushroom stems are a great addition to any island going for a fantasy theme, and many pro island decorators have created fairy themes using the items. Just like any specialty item, though, fans will have to have the right supplies to craft the items and take the time to find the recipes. Below are all twelve of the items from the mush set and what fans need to craft them.
12 Mush Wand
The mush wand is one of two held items that fans can get in this series. The wand will allow fans to change between outfits while out and about in fans town. It’s a bit different than the rest of the set, though, because fans will need to get a hold of a few star fragments to craft it. To make the mush wand, fans will need three skinny mushrooms and three star fragments.
11 Mush Umbrella
The mush umbrella is the only fashion accessory in the set, and it’s the only other item that player-characters can hold beside the mush wand. Unlike other umbrellas in the game, the handle on the mush umbrella is white to make it look like the characters are actually holding a mushroom. To craft the mush umbrella, fans will need to collect just three flat mushrooms.
10 Forest Flooring
The forest flooring is one of three customization items for the walls of players’ homes and the only type of flooring fans can get from this set. It is made to match the forest wallpaper and, when used together, makes fans’ homes look like they have a forest growing inside one of their rooms.
To make the flooring, fans will need one rare mushroom, two round mushrooms, two skinny mushrooms, two flat mushrooms, and ten weeds.
9 Mush Wall
The mush wall is a bit of a strange craftable, as it actually doesn’t have a flooring piece that matches it. It is one of two wallpapers fans can receive from DIY recipes and is the easiest to craft out of the two, likely due to the fact it is not yet part of a set.
To craft, the mush wall fans need one elegant mushroom, one flat mushroom, one skinny mushroom, and one round mushroom.
8 Forest Wall
The forest wall is made to match the forest flooring and is harder to craft than the mush wall. Unlike the forest flooring, though, players won’t have to worry about trying to dig up a rare mushroom for the recipe. To make the forest wall, fans will need two elegant mushrooms, two skinny mushrooms, two flat mushrooms, two round mushrooms, and ten wood.
7 Mush Table
The mush table is a piece of furniture that can be used to decorate around players’ islands or homes. Like the rest of the mush set, it is a brown mushroom to start with that can be customized to fans liking. The mush table is another simple to craft item, and all fans will need is two flat mushrooms and six wood.
6 Mush Stool
The mush stool is the easiest to craft out of all the mush series, and the only chair as of right now. It replaces the mush chair from older games and is made to blend in perfectly with its counterpart the mush table. The super-simple mush stool only needs fans to gather two round mushrooms to craft it.
5 Mush Partition
The mush partition is an interesting item that many fans are divided over. The partition has an interesting appearance that is meant to blend in with the mush table and stool and is easy to craft. The get the mush partition fans simply need to find the recipe and gather three skinny mushrooms.
4 Mush Log
The mush log is another item that characters can sit on. The item’s design makes it a great choice for placing outside around fans island and can be used in the middle of a forest on players’ islands to give them a fantasy look.
This is a multi-part recipe, as fans will first need to make a log stool, which costs six wood to make. After the log stool is made, it will need to be combined with two skinny mushrooms to make the mush log.
3 Mushroom Wreath
The mushroom wreath will likely be the very first recipe fans get from the series. This is because Isabelle gives the recipe out starting on the first of November during the morning announcement if no other events have happened on fans island. The wreath can be placed on the fan’s door and does require multiple supplies to craft.
To craft the mushroom wreath, fans will need ten tree branches, a skinny mushroom, a round mushroom, and a flat mushroom.
2 Mush Parasol
The mush parasol is not something fans carry around. The Parasol is a furniture item despite the confusing name and has a look that is perfect for the forest flooring or to place around fans island, especially in the fall time. To make the mush parasol, fans simply need to find three flat mushrooms around fans island.
1 Mush Lamp
The mush lamp is a returning item from the old mush set and one of the most popular furniture items in the game. The light can be customized to glow several different colors and is incredibly easy to craft one the DIY recipe is found, giving players easy access to an army of the items. To craft, the mush lamp fans simply need to gather one skinny mushroom and five clay.
