With over 300 different villagers to choose from, it’s no wonder so many players in Animal Crossing: New Horizons are having a bit of choice anxiety. While it’s clear that some villagers are definite fan favorites, it’s not always simple to pick through the sea of odd and less odd animal villagers. So why not choose according to their zodiac type?

Born from November 22-December 21, Sagittarius in particular is a fantastic sign. Not only are they considered the funny guys of all the zodiac types for being super extroverted and incredibly good at jokes, they just bring something special and light-hearted to any situation.

13 Cats

Cats are some of the most well-liked villagers among fans. Luckily, a whopping three of them are actually Sagittarius types. This includes Kabuki, a Japanese-inspired cranky villager with his birthday on the 29th of November.

There’s also Tom, another cranky blue cat with his birthday on December 10th and Rudy, a reddish brown jock with his birthday on the 20th of December.

12 Tigers

Both Sagittarius tigers are quite girly and feminine-looking. For instance, Claudia is a snooty deep magenta tiger with purple stripes. Her birthday is celebrated on the 22nd of November.

Bianca on the other hand is a white tiger with leopard spots all over. She’s a peppy villager who has her birthday on the 13th of December.

11 Chickens

Only two chickens in the game are known to be Sagittarius types. Knox is a pretty unique-looking white chicken, often seen wearing gold and red armor. He’s a cranky villager with his birthday on the 23rd of November.

Becky’s a snooty villager with a light pink-and-purple feathered body and tons of make up on her face. She’s born on the 9th of December.

10 Wolves

Probably the largest category of Sagittarius types, there are a total of five wolves in the game under this type. There’s Wolfgang, the cranky blue wolf born on the 25th of November, as well as Kyle, the light brown smug villager born on the 6th of December.

Freya, a hot pink snooty villager is born on the 14th of December. Fang, a light gray-and-lilac cranky villager, is born on the 18th of December. Finally, there’s Chief, an orange-brown cranky wolf with his birthday on the 19th of December.

9 Kangaroos

Two kangaroos are the Sagittarius type. Rooney’s a pretty wild-looking blue-and-brown cranky villager, who has his birthday on the 1st of December.

Carrie on the other hand is a normal-type villager with a warm brown color, and her birthday is on the 5th of December.

8 Ostriches

Among the three ostriches that are the Sagittarius type, there’s Phil, a dark purple villager with a smug personality. His birthday is on the 27th of November. There’s also Blanche, a snooty villager with white feathers, as her name suggests. Her birthday is on the 21st of December.

Sprocket is a pretty distinct ostrich with a green, robot-like body and blank eyes. He’s a jock, and has his birthday on the 1st of December.

7 Rabbits

Claude is one of the two rabbits identified as Sagittarius villagers. He’s a brown rabbit with a strange curly eyebrow and a lazy personality. His birthday is on the 3rd of December.

After him there’s Gabi, a cute white and peppy rabbit villager with freckles on her face. She’s born on the 16th of December.

6 Eagles

Buzz is another known Sagittarius, and an eagle. He has brown feathers and what appears to be samurai armor on his body. Buzz is a cranky one, and his birthday is on the 7th of December.

He is accompanied in this category by Sterling, who wears a more European-style iron armor on his blue feather body. He’s a jock and celebrates his birthday on the 11th of December.

5 Birds

Two birds are Sagittarius types, and both are pretty well-recognized by their unique appearances. There’s Lucha, a bird wearing a classic red wrestler’s mask. He’s a smug one, and celebrates his birthday on the 12th of December.

Robin, named after an actual bird, is a snooty villager with a blue feathered body along with a bright orange chin. Her birthday is on the 4th of December.

4 Monkey Variants

There’s one monkey in the game who happens to be Sagittarius, and it’s Monty, the cute but slightly creepy light gray-and-white cranky monkey. He’s born on the 7th of December.

Along with Monty, there’s Hans the gorilla, known for having a light blue body, white hair, inspired by a yeti, no doubt. Hans is a smug villager, born on the 5th of December.

3 Horses

Peaches might look like an odd horse, but she’s just a normal-type villager with a pink body and plus-shaped black eyes. Her birthday is on the 28th of November.

Annalise is the second horse Sagittarius. She has a more natural, brown body and eyes with makeup on them. Her personality is snooty, and her birthday is on the 2nd of December.

2 Other Mammals

A mixed bunch of mammals also qualify as Sagittarius. This includes, Chadder, the cheese-looking mouse with a smug personality. He’s born on the 15th of December. There’s also Eloise, a snooty yellow elephant born on the 8th of December.

Tasha, a dark blue-and-white squirrel with a snooty personality is also a Sagittarius, born on the 30th of November. Willow is a yellow sheep with pink horns, and snooty by nature. She’s born on the 26th of November. Finally, there’s Shep, a smug dog villager with very long hair covering his eyes, with his birthday on the 24th of November.

1 Frogs

Last but not least there’s the only frog villager who’s born under Sagittarius stars, and it’s none other than Cousteau. He’s a yellow frog with dark brown patches on his body, as well as a pair of curving eyes.

He’s a jock by personality, and often wears traditional Chinese outfits. Cousteau’s birthday is on the 17th of December.
