Part of what makes the Animal Crossing franchise so much fun to play is interacting with the villagers. They each have a unique personality and traits that make them interesting to talk to. Many fans enjoy checking on the birthdays of each of their favorite villagers. If you’re curious to know which ones fall under the Scorpio star sign, here’s a complete list. 10 Canines

There are five dogs villagers in the Animal Crossing universe who share the Scorpio star sign. Portia the dalmatian has the distinction of being the only dog with a snooty personality. Butch is a cranky villager born on November 1st. Lucky appears in a full-body cast but has survived to tell his tale.  Mac is a jock villager who appears to be a bulldog. Daisy is a light cream-colored normal villager. Lobo the wolf is a crank guy who’s name is based on the Latin word for wolf.

9 Anteaters

There are two Scorpio anteaters in the Animal Crossing universe. One is named Snooty and the other is Pango. Snooty is the only character in the games whose name matches her personality type. Snooty is always frowning behind her big, pink snout.

Pango is quite her opposite. He’s a preppy villager with a great attitude. Pango’s name is short for pangolin which is an animal found in Asia and Africa. It’s known as the scaly anteater.

8 Hedgehogs

Animal Crossing has some high fashion hedgehogs and two of them happen to be Scorpios. Labelle and her older sister Sable both share the star sign. Labelle was born on Halloween making her birthday a fun event for the whole town. Sable was born on November 22nd. The pair of seamstresses use their Scorpio ambition to run a successful boutique in New Leaf.

7 Birds

There’s an impressive list of birds in Animal Crossing who share the Scorpio sign.  Brofina the chicken, Wade the penguin, Queenie the ostrich, Mallory the duck, Amelia the eagle, Sparro the bird, and Phyllis the pelican all share late fall birthdays. These fabulous birds run the gambit from giant, flightless ostriches to tiny little songbirds.

6 Small Mammals

Gaston and Snake the rabbits, Katrina the pather, and Rodney the hamster all share this late fall star sign. These villagers are all small mammals and add a great deal of cuteness to any village. Gaston the rabbit is a friendly French character who uses sweet terms of endearment to address players. Snake is another cheerful bunt whose name and appearance are a nod to the Metal Gear Solid character of the same name. Katrina, the fortune teller,  is a mysterious black panther. Rodney the hamster is a smug villager with flashy style.

5 Primates

Rilla the gorilla is a preppy villager who can be invited to live in your town. Her amiibo card is part of the Sanrio pack. Flip the monkey is a jock primate.

His catchphrase: “See no donut, hear no donut, speak no donut,” is a reference to the three wise monkeys idiom. Both of these characters make fun additions to any town.

4 Herptiles

Jambette the frog is a normal villager with a darkly humorous name. Jambette may be a pun based on the French word for legs. Frog legs are a popular delicacy in France. Alli the alligator has a sassy style and a snooty personality. Sly the alligator is a sneaky jock. His name is a reference to his personality and his skin which is camouflage. This skin makes Sly unique and memorable.

3 Pigs

Boris the pig is a cranky guy. His name is a play on the word “boar”, another type of wild pig. His phrase is “Schnort” which is a playful spelling of the sound most widely associated with pigs. Pancetti the pig is also a Scorpio. She’s a snooty character who wears a beautiful yellow sundress. Her name is a play on the Italian cured pork pancetta. This name is a little macabre but it’s also adorable.

2 Large Mammals

Rodeo the Bull’s name is obviously taken from the popular western sport. His initial phrase is a reference to the chaps often worn at the rodeo. Bam the deer is a jock villager. His name is a reference to the Disney film Bambi.

Sahara the camel appears as a traveling merchant selling rugs and wallpaper. Her name is a reference to the great desert in Africa. Tia the elephant is based on a teapot with the spout being her adorable trunk. Her name is a play on the word “tea.” Epona the horse must be invited by scanning a Zelda related amiibo.

1 Marsupials

The beautiful country of Australia is represented by two of its most infamous species. Eugene the koala is a smug villager. His name is a reference to eucalyptus, the plant that koalas eat. Mathilda is another marsupial in the game. Her name is a reference to the popular Australian song “Waltzing Matilda”. She carries her little joey around in her pouch. Her initial phrase is “wee baby,” referring to the joey. Marsupials make an awesome addition to the game.
