It’s officially Taurus season! Just as late April and early May babies in real life are celebrating their birthdays, there are also quite a few Animal Crossing: New Horizons villagers joining in on the fun. Taurus birthdays run from April 19 to May 20, so be sure to keep an eye out for the latest birthday announcement from Isabelle.
There are thirty-two Taurus villagers in total, spanning across 23 species. When a birthday arrives on your island, the villager will host an adorably pure birthday party in their home, usually accompanied by one other villager. If you bring a gift to the party, they’ll send you a gift in return via mail.
23 Bulls
The symbol for Taurus is a bull, so it’s interesting that there are quite a few Taurus bull villagers. Stu’s birthday is April 20, Coach celebrates on April 29, Angus celebrates one day later on April 30, and T-bone has his birthday on the final day, May 20.
In New Horizons, that makes four Taurus bulls out of six total bulls, which is a rare species in the game.
22 Pigs
Two pigs celebrate their big days in April. The first is Agnes, a sisterly, black pig with a big heart. She celebrates her birthday on April 21. Some of her favorite things include art and golf. The other Taurus pig is Kevin, an orange jock villager who loves all things space-related. His birthday is on April 26.
21 Ostriches
Phoebe is a vibrantly-colored ostrich with a sisterly personality. She celebrates her birthday on April 22. She’s got an ornate sense of style and loves all things red and fiery. Because of her sweet personality, though, she’ll be happy to receive any gift.
20 Dogs
Two dog villagers, Cherry and Biskit, both have May birthdays, and they are only a few days apart. Cherry, a black and red sisterly villager, has her birthday on May 11. She enjoys rock’n’roll and hopes to be a dancer.
Biskit is an orange, lazy pup. He celebrates his birthday on May 13. He has a basic style and loves to snooze.
19 Ducks
Miranda, a pink, snooty duck who wears some heavy makeup, was born on April 23. She can be a bit rude at first, but she does warm up after some time. Perhaps buying her an ornate birthday gift can get you on her good side.
18 Kangaroos
Two kangaroo villagers are Tauruses. Walt, one of two male kangaroos, was born on April 24. He has a cranky personality, but he will eventually warm up. He loves samurai items.
Sylvia, a purple kangaroo, changed personalities between Animal Crossing games. Though she was once snooty, she is considered sisterly in New Horizons. Her birthday is on May 3.
17 Hippos
Bertha, a sweet, blue hippo, celebrates her birthday on April 25. She has a modern taste in furniture and loves to fill her home with instruments and baskets. Bertha gets along with most other villagers, so she’s likely to have any one of them join in on her birthday party.
16 Cats
A sisterly, brown and yellow striped cat, appropriately named Katt, was born on April 27. She enjoys a rock’n’roll style, and her home is even decorated like a music studio. Katt would likely love to receive instruments or music as birthday gifts, but her uchi personality makes her appreciative of anything you can offer.
15 Chickens
Ava, a white, red, and gold chicken, is a normal villager who celebrates her birthday on April 28. Her style has changed throughout the Animal Crossing games, but for the most part, she seems to enjoy a rustic lifestyle. Ava also aspires to be a pastry chef, so kitchen items can sometimes be seen in her home. She’d love a good stand mixer.
14 Horses
The only Taurus horse villager is Clyde, who celebrates his birthday on May Day, May 1. He is a bright yellow, lazy horse villager with a flashy sense of style. Fruit-themed items are perfect for Clyde’s home, as well as anything superhero-related.
13 Squirrels
Mint, a mint-colored squirrel, was born on May 2. She is a snooty villager who loves to gossip, and she tends to have an official style. Her home is often decorated in a retro-chic manner and is sometimes filled with the plush teddy bear collection.
12 Deer
Deirdre is a gray, sisterly deer with a ton of spunk. She celebrates her birthday on May 4. Her home tends to have an autumn forest theme, but she enjoys a historical style.
11 Elephants
Two elephants, Paolo and Ellie, celebrate their birthdays in May. Paolo, a lazy, pink elephant, was born on May 5. His home fits a combination of the kiddie theme and the nursery theme, so he loves anything youthful and fun.
Ellie, a brown elephant, was born on May 12. She has a normal personality and loves both blue and green items.
10 Rhinos
Tank the blue rhino celebrates his big day on May 6. He’s got a jock personality, so he loves any workout equipment. In addition, in New Horizons, he has a modern taste in home decor with a preference for blue items.
9 Koalas
Ozzie’s birthday is coming up on May 7. He’s a gray, lazy koala who also dreams of being a pro golfer. His house tends to contain a school theme, with cubbies, a blackboard, desks, etc.
Canberra, a sisterly orange koala, is also a Taurus with a birthday on May 14. She has a basic home for the most part, containing mostly ranch items, but she does enjoy restaurant themes, as well.
8 Sheep
Curlos, a brown fleece sheep, has a birthday on May 8. In early Animal Crossing games, Curlos was a cranky villager, but he later became a smug villager. He has a rock-n-roll style, but no specific home theme.
7 Rabbits
Bunnie is an orange rabbit with a peppy personality. She celebrates her birthday on May 9. Bunnie’s dream home is birthday-themed, so her party is no doubt going to be a big deal.
6 Cows
Patty is another peppy villager who celebrates her birthday on May 10. This brown cow loves a good outdoor theme, so her home is filled with backyard items. She also loves to cook and has a modern sense of style.
5 Tigers
Leonardo is a yellow tiger villager covered in leopard spots. His birthday is on May 15. As a jock villager, Leonardo has a very sporty clothing style. He also has a scattered home decor theme, with pieces from many different furniture sets.
Leonardo’s goal is to be a soccer player and his dream home is a sports arena.
4 Bears
Ike the bear celebrates his birthday on May 16. He is a cranky, brown and orange villager with a rock-n-roll style. He dreams of being a carpenter, so his home is filled with tools.
