Futurama fans will be pleased to know that you can get ahold of some adorable gear themed around the popular series in Animal Crossing: New Horizons!
The Animal Crossing community has to be one of the most creative ones out there. Since its release in March this year, Nintendo’s overwhelmingly successful and super-cute life simulator has had players tapping into the game’s creative capabilities to produce some truly fantastical things.
Amongst these creations is a steady stream of outfits and accessories which your own avatar can don as a way of paying homage to some of their other favorite games, TV series, movies, or characters. There’s something so satisfying about being able to build up a collection of in-game paraphernalia which bring together bits of much-loved pop-culture in unique ways. So how about adding some Futurama goodies to your own collection? Check out the following!
An obvious place to start would be the lovably oblivious Fry with his trademark white shirt and red jacket combo:
Once you have obtained Fry’s garb (preferably worn by an orange-haired avatar, of course), why not pair up with the game’s robotic frog villager Ribbot? Just like that, you’ll have pretty much the perfect Fry-and-Bender best friend team - Animal Crossing edition!
You can also use the following codes to get the Planet Express logo, which you’ll also recognize from the show:
And while it may not be a code per say, here is a bonus for those of you who’d like to hear the Futurama theme song in your village:
Unfortunately, that’s all we have for now, but hopefully we can count on the community’s creative minds to treat us to some more Futurama bits and pieces in the future. We’d love to have a Leela-inspired outfit, or better yet, how about something Zoidberg-y?
Speaking of famous animated series by legendary Matt Groening, some New Horizons players even faithfully recreated the famous title sequence for The Simpsons using content from New Horizons, and it’s truly something you won’t want to miss!
