This weekend will be the last chance for Animal Crossing: New Horizons players to grab bugs and fish that will be leaving at the end of the month.
The end of May will see critters migrating hemispheres or disappearing globally. While the Northern Hemisphere won’t be losing much, the Southern Hemisphere will have a slew of catches leaving as summer winds down.
May’s last chance catches for the Northern Hemisphere:
- Golden Trout Loach Oarfish* Mole Cricket*
*Migrating to the Southern Hemisphere in June.
May’s last chance catches for the Southern Hemisphere:
- Golden Trout Mitten Crab Ray Cricket Migratory Locust Monarch Butterfly Rice Grasshopper Walking Stick Barred Knifejaw* Cherry Salmon* Neon Tetra* Sea Horse* Zebra Turkeyfish* Flea* Long Locust* Mantis* Orchid Mantis* Violin Beetle*
*Migrating to the Northern Hemisphere in June.
If you have a few friends in the opposite hemisphere as you, we recommend that you focus on the globally disappearing ones. Some of them won’t be reappearing until as late as Autumn or Winter, so it’s best to grab them now and re-try any migrating ones you’ve missed while visiting your friends’ islands in June. Happy hunting!
