In a move that shouldn’t come as a surprise, one daring Animal Crossing fan has decided to recreate Pelican Town from Stardew Valley. We only get a glimpse of the village, but from what we can tell it’s already shaping up to be a faithful tribute to the popular farming game.
Redditor u/Veltrafang recently posted their handiwork online for the rest of the New Horizons community to critique and, so far, no one has anything but praise for the villager’s work. The screenshot shared online only includes the sewers and graveyard section of Pelican Town, but we’re sure to get more in the coming days. In fact, their latest update shows them getting into a heated showdown with a poorly placed boulder during a bit of construction.
Not to be outdone, another Redditor — u/Inkfinitive — posted their recreation in the same thread. It’s another adorable take on the famous Stardew Valley town, but it’s incredible how different the two look. Both are images of the sewers and graveyard — and both appear to be faithful recreations — but the New Horizons towns look totally different. Chalk it up to unique fencing choice of shrubs.
Animal Crossing: New Horizons has become nothing short of a cultural phenomenon over the last few weeks. Players continue to impress with their creativity, dedication, and appreciation for others. Here’s hoping Pelican Town will be completed within the next few weeks!
