Animal Crossing: New Horizons players have found tons of workarounds when it comes to a variety of the game’s features. Most recently, players have been exploiting the method of using Nook Miles Tickets to encourage more villagers to move to the players’ islands.

As explained by Eurogamer, Nook Miles Tickets are currently being sold in bulk within the Animal Crossing: New Horizons community. For the uninitiated, Nook Miles Tickets can be purchased with Nook Miles, which are points obtained by completing challenges, among other things in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. While Nook Miles can be used to purchase a variety of items, one such item is the Nook Miles Ticket, which will take players to a different island.

The Nook Miles Ticket costs 2,000 Nook Miles and, as stated before, will take players to another island from which there is a distinct possibility that a new villager will come. This has apparently enticed a ton of players looking to populate their town with their desired villagers.

In the online trading community for Animal Crossing: New Horizons, players are starting to charge Nook Miles Tickets for visiting their island to get villagers. When a villager is about to leave somewhere, they can be convinced by players who live off-island to go and live on another player’s island. Some have been taking advantage of this by charging Nook Miles Tickets to those who want certain villagers.

According to Eurogamer, the villager Raymond, for instance, “cost” about 800 Nook Miles Tickets, which equates to 1,600,000 Nook Miles. These are considerable lengths for players to go to just to get a favorite villager. But Animal Crossing players are no stranger to doing crazy things to have their space just so.

The creativity and opportunistic nature of some Animal Crossing: New Horizons players is fairly impressive. More notably, the extent that some players will go to for specific villagers is astounding. But, it was only a matter of time before Animal Crossing: New Horizons players found a way to make serious transactions with the game’s currency.

Players in China have found a way to earn real-life money as well, by offering to provide maintenance services to other Chinese players.

Whether it’s pay for housekeeping or an exchange of Nook Miles Tickets for villagers, Animal Crossing: New Horizons players are a creative and hard-working bunch.
