This is probably the most perfect entrance to Blathers’ Museum we’ve ever seen in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

We’ve seen some beautiful gardens in New Horizons, but none of them have been as gorgeous as this offering from Reddit user mewmewfoofoo. They used a collection of in-game assets to create a “French-inspired garden” just outside the entrance to Blathers’ Museum, and it is absolutely stunning.

It’s also huge. User mewmewfoofoo needed to take three screenshots back to back in order to fit the whole thing, and we’re still missing portions of it. But what we can see is just out of this world.

Starting with the terraformed entrance, we see white street lamps bracketing a bronze statue of what appears to be a dung beetle, with twin outdoor dinosaur exhibits on either side of the stairways. A satellite can be seen in the background to give even more of a science-y vibe to the museum.

Stepping down from those stairways we’re greeted by a bronzed Arowana fish statue and a collection of carefully curated flowers, bushes, and potted pine trees. In the center of the garden is a fountain that’s surrounded by geometrically pleasing plant life and white-painted benches for residents to take a load off and enjoy the scenery.

And at the far end, the Discobolus statue reminds us that this is as much about art as it is about science.

If this were a real-life museum, we’d certainly want to visit once all this coronavirus business has concluded. In the meantime, Animal Crossing provides us with whatever we’re missing in real life.
