Every week and month, the player’s island in Animal Crossing: New Horizons is visited by a bunch of different regular island visitors. These include characters who might offer DIY recipes or items in exchange for a favor, or just special shopkeepers who sell items that aren’t available anywhere else. In total as of now there are 14 different visitors who can show up to the island.
With such a colorful cast of characters that have their own unique personalities, it’s a fun exercise to see how these visitors would fall into the sixteen different MBTI® types. Which one matches yours?
16 ISTJ: Daisy Mae
Daisy Mae might look young, but don’t be fooled by appearances. Despite her age, she’s taken charge of the Stalk Market and sells turnips in bulk at their initial price every Sunday.
The fact that she manages this fragile and volatile part of the economy successfully makes her an ISTJ, a highly logical and efficient thinker, but also a slight introvert.
15 ISFJ: Wisp
Wisp appears at nighttime to the island and always gets frightened by the player. But despite this, he offers a more than worthy reward to show his gratitude.
His personality is pretty one-dimensional, but Wisp’s charitable nature best aligns with ISFJs, who similarly go above and beyond to show their love and gratitude to others.
14 INFJ: Saharah
Saharah is best known for selling her rugs on a weekly basis on the island. She’s a mysterious person, who speaks in a unique, almost cryptic manner.
Her depth and intelligence is akin to that of a philosophical INFJ, who enjoys discussing the deeper questions of life and thinking upon them in solitude.
13 INTJ: Label
Label is one of the Able sisters, who chose to look for her own luck in the city as a fashion designer. Now, Label travels in search for inspiration, fueled by the ambition to start her own business.
Her initiative is in line with the strategic way of thinking that most INTJs have. No matter what, they always come up with an approach to achieve their goals.
12 ISTP: C. J.
C. J. is well-known for being an absolute champion in fishing. He’s knowledgeable about fish, but most likely also knows a thing or two about fishing rods and making bait.
This crafty, handy side of his is best related to ISTPs, who are very much hands on with whatever they do. They excel with manual labor of any kind.
11 ISFP: Gulliver
A sailor often washed up on the shores of the island, Gulliver never seems ready to abandon his life of adventure and excitement. He’s committed to travel the seas.
ISFPs also have a need to constantly see new things and new places. Much like Gulliver, they were made to travel the world.
10 INFP: Flick
Flick is a lizard with a deep passion for bugs. He finds these critters beautiful, so much so that it seems to inspire his artistic side and often results in poetic words of praise .
Flick’s shy yet sweet and creative personality is exactly that of INFPs. They’re always there for others and recognize the good in anyone and anything — even tarantulas.
9 INTP: Celeste
Celeste, Blather’s sister, is very much like his brother. She’s worked in a museum before and knows quite a bit about the night sky, making her an intelligent individual who chases after more knowledge.
INTPs love expanding their minds, which is why Celeste is similar to them. Their main concern is to come up with something brand new.
8 ESTP: Kicks
On a weekly basis, Kicks will show up to the island to sell shoes, socks and bags. He has a humble little shop, but his drive to sell and make profit has pushed him into success.
ESTPs have the exact same motivation as Kicks. They are naturals when it comes to persuading others and running a business.
7 ESFP: C. J.
There are few visitors quite as enthusiastic as C. J. in the game. His passion and energy when it comes to fishing shine through at all times.
This eagerness and brightness is best illustrated among ESFPs. They show their emotions straight away, without hiding their excitement.
6 ENFP: Pascal
Pascal has just recently returned to the game, and has become known for his philosophical quotes and a free-spirited attitude.
ENFPs are quite similar to him, even if he does come across as a loner. Still, Pascal’s depth and independence are what easily classify him as an ENFP.
5 ENTP: Redd
Most people would agree that Redd isn’t exactly a trustworthy character. That said, he’s a sly, smart fox who has his foot in the door in a very particular business.
ENTPs will appreciate the dynamism that Redd exhibits when trying to sell to the player. People just don’t say no to Redd, and like any ENTP, he’ll challenge them until the end.
4 ESTJ: Label
Label is an up and coming businesswoman, that much is evident. Although she’s still in the process of building her brand, she’s good at managing the player to her advantage.
ESTJs share this ability to control others and lead projects. They don’t waste time dreaming, but actually make things happen, just like Label.
3 ESFJ: Leif
No one is as kind and warm as Leif is. When he pops in to sell his shrubs and flowers, he’s more than happy to assist the player and buy their weeds.
This kind-hearted and eagerness to always support others is also strongly present in ESFJs, who live to serve and help.
2 ENFJ: K. K. Slider
K. K. Slider is without a doubt the most popular character in the Animal Crossing universe, admired by his cool, philosophical and inspiring personality.
ENFJs are just as charismatic and magnetic as K. K. is. They naturally attract friends and followers, just by being themselves.
1 ENTJ: Gullivarr
Not much is known about Gullivarr, other than that he’s a pirate who looks a lot like Gulliver. Still, it’s safe to say he’s known adventures. As a captain, he knows how to lead a crew through anything
Fearless and decisive ENTJs will appreciate Gullivarr’s character the most due to their leadership and thirst for something bigger.
