In order to get the most out of Animal Crossing: New Horizons, players need to pay close attention to the visitors that pop up on their island at a regular basis. Nearly every day of the week, a brand new visitor or character will be appearing on the island, so checking around to see if Leif, Wisp, or Gulliver is around is key to getting all those rare items and furniture pieces.

On top of being great for growing a nice collection of items, these characters are also unique in their own way. Each of them have their own personality, which could be categorized into one of the zodiac types. Here’s what zodiac type each island visitor represents.

12 Aries: C. J.

C. J. is in charge of the fishing competition, which is organized on a regular basis. He’ll also show up on the island to buy fish for a good price, and it’s evident that he’s an energetic, passionate fisherman. Aries is the closest to C. J.’s competition-loving personality. They get into challenges & tournaments eagerly and love a good race.

11 Taurus: Gullivarrr

Instead of being a simple sailor like Gulliver, Gullivarrr is actually the captain of a pirate ship. To help him, the player needs to dive to find his lost communicator and will be rewarded with pirate themed items.

Gullivarrr is a leader figure, and his crew relies on him quite a bit. Strong and determined, he’s close to the personality type of a Taurus, who also care deeply for their friends and are reliable.

10 Gemini: Daisy Mae

The Stalk Market is essentially the stock market of Animal Crossing, a gamble for bells and turnips which is organized each week by Daisy Mae. She comes in to sell her turnips, the price of which she sets at a certain point every Sunday.

Her sweet and eager nature makes her seem like a Gemini. Her kindness aside, she’s also incredibly smart like most Geminis, and loves stopping for a chat with the player.

9 Cancer: Leif

Leif is easily one of the kindest island visitors out there. He has a heart of gold, and he seems like the kind of person who would put his life on the line for others. The fact that he buys clumps of weed for such a great price just makes him loved by everyone.

Cancers are also extremely loved by those around them for being so deep and emotional. They make the best listeners, since they have an unparalleled emotional depth that no one else can match.

8 Leo: Redd

Players will find it hard to trust Redd as soon as they meet him. He has a sly look on his face, and his pricing is questionable. Moreover, he sometimes shows up with fake artwork, claiming it’s a genuine piece of art.

Leos have that exact same charismatic flair that Redd has. They could sell anything to anyone, and they absolutely adore competition. Extroverted and dramatic, they’re the center of the attention wherever they go.

7 Virgo: Label

Hardworking Label is in the process of starting her very own fashion business. Due to this, she shows up to the island to look for proper inspiration for her designs, and she does have quite a sharp eye for things.

Virgos are quiet yet deeply intelligent just as Label is. They approach life with a strategic mindset and are great at organizing businesses.

6 Libra: K. K. Slider

Every Saturday, everyone’s favorite musician K. K. Slider will appear on the island to play whatever tunes the player wants to hear. After that, he’ll even give a copy of the song to the player for free, which shows just how kind he is.

K. K. is definitely a Libra. He’s a very outgoing guy, but with a strong sense of justice. Libras also like to campaign for social justice, and often get absorbed in philosophical discussions.

5 Scorpio: Gulliver

Gulliver will also wash up on the island and ask the player to help them dig up their missing communicator parts. In the aftermath, the player will receive a reward in their mail, which is usually an object from their travels.

There’s no one as brave and adventurous as Gulliver, which makes him a Scorpio. No matter the situation, he always finds a way to thrive and survive, and he doesn’t seem scared of anything.

4 Sagittarius: Wisp

Wisp will only show up during the night, and always gets frightened by the player. As a result, the player must find their five missing pieces. They’ll be rewarded with an item that’s either expensive, or which they don’t have yet.

Wisp’s outgoing, bright personality betrays his ghost-like appearance. He wears his emotions on his sleeve, which means he’s no doubt a Sagittarius, also well-known for being very giving and charitable people.

3 Capricorn: Celeste

Celeste appears at night time as well and is passionate about all things celestial. Talking to her will reward the player with one night sky themed DIY recipe. She’s Blathers’ sister and a former museum worker, which implies that she’s quite smart.

Celeste’s strive for knowledge and her serious dedication to the night sky makes her a Capricorn. Never willing to give up, just like Blathers she’s chasing after more discoveries.

2 Aquarius: Pascal

Deep diving for sea creatures also introduced Pascal as a new island visitor. Once a day, the player can choose to give their first scallop to him, in return for a marine themed DIY or a pearl. He’ll also spare some of his philosophical wisdom.

Pascal’s free-spirited way of life and deep mindset makes him a bit strange and unique, just like an Aquarius. He’s simply gathering his scallops, bravely pursuing his own path.

1 Pisces: Saharah

Saharah is a mysterious character, a traveler who has seen many places. She sells her rugs, as well as mysterious flooring and walls to the player on a weekly basis, while speaking in an almost cryptic manner that eliminates tense.

Pisces will understand Saharah the most. They’ll relate to her caring nature, but also adore the fact that she’s so unique & creative, and has a secretive, timeless wisdom.
