The NosTale 2020 Summer Event Part 1 has kicked off, bringing a brand new game mode, a new raid, new items, and multiple quality-of-life additions and upgrades and more to this free-to-play anime action MMORPG. The first part of this event runs from July 13th 18:00 CEST to July 29th 11:00 CEST.
The Summer Event adds in the largest content update of the year to NosTale, titled “Act 7 Part 2: Storm the Celestial Spire”. This act will conclude the latest chapter, and according to the press release, will have “players prepare for the final battle to save the Orc tribe and the island of Moritius from annihilation.” Also included in the update are six new NosMates (pets), a slew of new quests and new tattoos, five extra Time-Space missions, and an update to the Runic System.
Headlining the Summer Event is the new game mode, The Celestial Spire, a solo-player mode where you (and your NosMates) must guard the Light Totem on each level of the Spire from an onslaught of increasingly powerful enemies. For this raid, you are allowed to customize your equipment, fairies, and specialist cards within the Spire. However, you are NOT allowed to use consumables, or have other players teleport in to assist you. Oh, and when you enter the Spire, all your buffs will be removed. Good luck!
Successfully surviving the Spire will earn you the usual gold and reputation boosts, and you’ll also be able to lay claim to items at the new Celestial Shop, such as Celestial Spire Keys, raid seals, and NosMates who are more highly-trained and ready for combat within the Spire.
Ascent into Darkness – The Assault of Lord Paimon is the new NosTales 20-player raid, which takes place on top of the Celestial Spire. A master of the dark arcane arts, Lord Paimon, is attempting to break into the world from his infernal realm. Take your level 20 or higher champion into the raid to stop Lord Paimon, and you’ll earn drops which include exclusive accessories, gear, materials, and Production Scrolls.
