We might see the openings of those loot bunkers in Kings Canyon very soon, according to an Apex Legends dataminer.
So you know those loot bunkers that were added to Kings Canyon in Season 5? They arrived right about the same time as an area called Salvage, which replaced Skull Town and Thunderdome when they were destroyed. Those loot bunkers/vaults have been tantalizing players for weeks now with the promise of Legendary loot, but nobody has figured out a way to get inside.
But now it looks like those vaults are going to open on their own. According to Apex Legends dataminer Shrugtal, the first of the loot bunkers will begin to open later this month.
Shrugtal posted the datamined info to their Twitter account, revealing that it’ll take about a week for the loot vaults to completely open once they start. Inside you’ll find a bunch of great stuff, with Shrugtal highlighting the best of the possible drops. Those include a golden Prowler Burst PDW, a Sentinel sniper, and the Havoc rifle.
One bunker is already open if you know where to look. It’s in an underground gash between The Broken Coast and Water Treatment. The next vault starts opening on June 16 and doesn’t fully open until June 23. Each vault will then open in sequence one after the other.
