Apex Legends has an upcoming Bloodhound Town Takeover event starting April 7th, and going all the way to April 21st. Throughout the event, various cosmetics will be available in the shop every four days. Some of the cosmetics that will be available have been leaked by the dataminer iLootGames.
The Bloodhound Takeover event will feature skins for Bloodhound, Crypto, Wattson, and Wraith and skins for five guns. Unfortunately, the Wraith skin and an R-301 skin are recolors from the first season, where players were able to earn the original skins by completing challenges in the Wild Frontier season. The other skins are new designs and will be available in the shop or earned from event challenges.
The Prowler skin has an impressive design, which features a raven painted on the sides and will possibly glow light blue. iLootGames also shows the Evo-8 skin, which is also blue with gold trim, but may possibly have a moving snowflake design as well. Several new weapon charms have been revealed as a raven totem, a horn, a Viking ship, and a shield. One will be available in the shop, while the others have been hinted to be in-game and revealed by the featured hunter, Bloodhound.
The Bloodhound event will bring other changes such as increasing loot drops on King’s Canyon, and potential gameplay tweaks as Apex Legends heads into season 5 soon after the event ends. This is not the first character takeover event in Apex Legends. Previously, Mirage was the featured character and the event added a whole new location to the map, so it is possible the same will happen for Bloodhound.
Apex Legends is currently available for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
