Respawn has cooked up yet another entry for their Stories from the Outlands series: entitled “Legacy of a Thief.” The set of videos each offer a deeper look into the lives of the characters featured in Apex Legends.
The last lore video showcased the origin story of Bloodhound. This time, fans are theorizing that the new video will feature an in-depth look at Loba, the (supposed) upcoming legend for Season 5 of Apex. Although it is just a rumor, plenty of leaks point towards Loba’s debut in May. However, considering how Respawn used Forge to pull the wool over our eyes last time, anything can happen.
Loba is rumored to be the daughter of Revenant’s latest victims, their unfortunate demise shown in Season 4: Assimilation’s launch trailer. If this is indeed true, both characters’ fates are surely intertwined and may be featured in Legacy of a Thief.
Apparently, Loba is one and the same with “Rosie,” one of the earliest legends that was leaked via datamining. Her abilities revolve around mobility, swift looting, and even theft itself – so greedy players may want to tune-in tomorrow. Legacy of a Thief will be premiering on Thursday, April 30 at 10AM PT.
