Lifeline was one of the original characters on Apex Legends’ roster back when it launched in early 2019. She is a combat medic that heals and revives her teammates while also being able to provide them with loot. Being one of the launch characters, Lifeline has gotten the chance to have her abilities changed multiple times and get in on plenty of events with new and unique cosmetics.

Lifeline has collected a (current) total of 16 Legendary skins and many more nice lower rarity skins throughout the life of Apex Legends. However, some events are better than others and have given Lifeline some better cosmetics to work with.

20 Breach and Clear

Breach and Clear was one of the Legendary skins released with the Aftermarket event during Season 6. The full black outfit doesn’t suit Lifeline as much. However, the face mask and motif of the design are pretty interesting and it is one of the more unique skins she has. It’s a fun concept that immediately differentiates itself from other Lifeline skins.

It is not known when or even if the skin will be in the Apex Legends shop again. As a Legendary event skin, it would cost 2,400 Crafting Metals or 1,800 Apex Coins.

19 Balance Shift

Balance Shift is a variant of the Vital Signs skin but the color choice isn’t the best. The selection for her hair color clashes with the rest of the skin and serves to make it duller alongside the selection of orange and blue shades. It’s not the best Lifeline skin out there, but it’s alright.

You can buy the Balance Shift skin from the shop if it is in the rotation and you have 6,500 Legend Tokens, as well as the original Vital Signs skin. The hefty requirements to buy this skin make it a tough decision as you might be better off with the original.

18 Hell Raiser

Hell Raiser is a recolor of the From The Ashes skin, changing the dimmed purple to a fiery red. The vibrant and glowing red and yellow coming after the unique purple and red is a little less inspired, but it’s still nice overall and matches the rest of the Anniversary skins.

This skin was part of the Anniversary collection event. It is not known when it will return. During the Anniversary event, the skin cost 2,400 Crafting Metals or could have been purchased with 1,800 Apex Coins.

17 Guardian Angel

Guardian Angel is Lifeline’s Edition skin and it does an okay job of flattering her. The angelic and feathery motif of the skin is clear but the design could use some work. The hair feels like a slap in the face after changing Lifeline’s iconic buns into something that doesn’t serve her as well. The concept of the skin also does a great job of depicting Lifeline as an angelic healer coming to save her teammates.

You can buy the Guardian Angel skin at any time by purchasing the Lifeline Edition pack for $19.99. With everything else included in the pack, it’s a great deal for any Lifeline player.

16 From The Ashes

From The Ashes is the original version of the Hell Raiser skin. The decision to make it a darker, more muted, and cooler purple with subtle red accents goes a long way in making this a unique skin for Lifeline. The decision to make it resemble molten lava rather than going with a devil-inspired look was definitely the correct choice to make.

The skin was unlockable by reaching Level 53 with the Season 3 Battle Pass, and it is unlikely to return.

15 Organized Anarchy

Organized Anarchy gives Lifeline a faded silver and black hairstyle with a blue and orange outfit. It’s simple, but appealing. The gray isn’t as noticeable but does well to match the rest of the skin’s color palette. The gloves are a small detail but ultimately really stylish. After all, you’re going to be looking at them a lot as you reload and deploy your drone.

You can craft this skin at any time with 1,200 Crafting Metals or unlock the skin by opening Apex Packs.

14 First Responder

First Responder is a recolor of the Organized Anarchy skin and gives Lifeline a red and black look instead. It matches her role as a healer quite well. There are a lot of small changes from Organized Anarchy that make this skin a step up — the choice to replace the gray area from the original skin to entirely black on the pants was a great decision for this color scheme.

You can purchase this skin when it is back in the shop for 6,500 Legend Tokens if you already own Organized Anarchy.

13 Peak Performer

Peak Performer puts Lifeline in a very noticeable silver and yellow-orange costume. The color selection is fine but the glistening material of the jacket almost makes her look like a walking sheet of aluminum foil. It might not be a wise decision to stand out this much with recent changes to Lifeline’s hitbox.

The Peak Performer skin is available to craft for 1,200 Crafting Metals. Alternatively, you could obtain it through Apex Packs.

12 London Calling

London Calling is a befitting skin for Lifeline, referencing her role in a punk band as a drummer. The skin stands out because of the color choice and variety in the design. The black and white shirt and headband break up the purple hair and red plaid pants. The rib cage on the shirt really sells the whole look. With Lifeline’s heirloom, this skin can complete the drummer look.

The London Calling skin can be crafted with 1,200 Crafting Metals at any time or unlocked through Apex Packs.

11 Lifeline Bling

Lifeline Bling is a variation of Peak Performer and it outdoes the originator by quite a bit. The auburn color of the jacket goes well with the hair and gold goggles. The pants and accessories finish up the design and stop it from blending together. The all-black pants seem like an odd choice initially but they provide some peace and balance from the fiery reds that fill the rest of the skin.

To buy the Lifeline Bling skin you need to already own the Peak Performer skin and spend 6,500 Legend Tokens when it is in the Apex Legends store.

10 Health Drain

Health Drain gives Lifeline a mostly red look with some accents to break up the hues. The amount of detail given to this skin is few and far between for an Epic rarity cosmetic, which only makes it stand out further. The skin gives Lifeline an abundance of accessories but it is never overbearing or fighting for the player’s focus.

You could get this skin if you bought the Season 4 Battle Pass. As a level one skin, you would get it immediately upon purchase.

9 Snow Crystal

Snow Crystal is a festive Christmas skin for Lifeline. The Jade hues alongside the few hints of blue and red make it a fun skin. The pink is barely noticeable but rewards the eye once you see it. The blue hair is always a good look for Lifeline, being a major player in why this skin is one of the best.

Snow Crystal was part of the Holo-Day bash event in 2019. It is not known when it will return. At the time, it was sold for 1,000 Apex Coins, crafted with 800 Crafting Metals, or obtained through Holo-Day Bash Packs.

8 Pain Killer

Pain Killer puts Lifeline in a blue, white, and yellow outfit with a scale pattern. The entire skin is very well designed, even if it is a bit busy. The splashes of off-white are placed to complement the rest of the outfit. Paired with the color scheme of Lifeline’s D.O.C Heal Drone, it’s always a great choice to equip this skin as you head into the Apex Games.

This was in the Legendary Hunt event during Season 1 and could have been bought with 1,000 Apex Coins. At the time, Crafting Metals were not yet introduced into the game.

7 Pastel Dreams

Pastel Dreams gives Lifeline a spray-painted look with a vibrant color palette of yellow, magenta, and cyan. The patterns on her shirt and headband make it interesting while the variation in colors always gives you something to look at. This skin executes its theme well and makes it a steal for any Prime gaming members.

This was a Prime Gaming exclusive skin back in October 2020. It is unlikely to return, as no previous Twitch skins have been made obtainable after their redemption period expired.

6 Hot Blooded

Hot Blooded is similar to Pain Killer as it also has a scale pattern but presents it in red, black, and gold instead. The gold could be overpowering for some but it goes well with the choice of red and black — it pops out while balancing the colors well. The pouches on the pants stop the gold from stealing the spotlight while the accessories on the top do the same for the red and black.

This was an Epic rarity skin and part of the Anniversary collection event in Season 8. It could be obtained through event packs or purchased directly for 1,000 Apex Coins or crafted with 400 Crafting Metals at the time; This is cheaper than most event skins for the sake of the anniversary.

5 Rejuvination

Typo or not, the color palette and design do wonders for Lifeline’s catalog of skins. The green with a hint of yellow for the hair complements the bluish-green and yellow color palette on the outfit. There are a lot of little details throughout the outfit that really make it pop, such as the pattern on her shirt or subtle touches of yellow.

To buy this skin when it is in the shop, you need to own the London Calling skin and spend 6,500 Legend Tokens.

4 Bad To The Bone

The choice of red alongside the denim jacket and black pants are neatly topped off with a skull face mask, all working together to create a great punk look for Lifeline that fits the rest of Season 8. This is a more modern take on the punk aesthetic that Lifeline skins tend to include.

Bad To The Bone was a Season 8 Battle Pass skin that anyone who purchased the Battle Pass could acquire once they reached level 50 on it. This skin is more than worthy of being a reward.

3 Worlds Apart

Worlds Apart is a Legendary skin released during the Fight Night event and has already solidified itself as one of Lifeline’s best skins. The off-white tints are excellent alongside the great choice of orange and cyan hues. The hair, makeup, and accessories on the skin complete a great look for Lifeline.

It is not known when the skins from the Fight Night event will return or if this skin will be re-released. You could purchase this skin for 1,800 Apex Coins or 2,400 Crafting Metals at the time of the event.

2 Vital Signs

Vital Signs is a classic Legendary Lifeline skin. You can’t go wrong with this combination of red and blue paired up with the stylish mountain climber outfit — it’s a classic look and staple of the character. The small yellow accents on the accessories keep your eyes busy in this masterful utilization of primary colors.

You can craft this item at any time with 1,200 Crafting Metals or you can hope to be lucky while opening an Apex pack. Occasionally, the skin will enter the store alongside a variant.

1 Pirate Queen

The Pirate Queen skin is an amazing Legendary Lifeline skin. The green hues blend in nicely with the black shades used and are further complemented by small metallic and silver pieces throughout the outfit. The accessories top it off and make it the best Lifeline skin currently out.

As part of the Lost Treasures event, it is not known when it will return. As a Legendary event skin, it cost 1,800 Apex Coins or 2,400 Crafting Metals at the time of its release. Any player who got this skin while it was still available is a lucky person.
