Season 5 of Apex Legends will feature a brand new “Season Quest,” but just what is it?
On May 12, Respawn’s battle royale game will receive its fifth season by introducing a brand new legend named Loba, a talented thief on the hunt for whoever killed her parents. We’ll also be treated to a brand new Battle Pass as well as something completely new: a Seasonal Quest.
“Hunt for treasure and answers in the new Season Quest,” reads the Season 5 website for Apex Legends. “Those who complete the journey will be richly rewarded.”
That’s all the written explanation we get for just what this new Seasonal Quest will entail. Above the text is a picture of twin Wingman pistols along with a few downward-pointing arrows. Could this mean that the quest will take a Destiny-style approach and require that players use specific weapons such as the Wingman? Or will the “hunt for treasure” be more literal, with hidden items spread throughout the map that the player must find during a match?
It’s hard to say at the moment, but we can expect a bit more info on Tuesday after Respawn drops the official Season 5 trailer. Check back then for an update.
