In an effort to encourage social distancing, Ubisoft has been giving out some quality games on Uplay for the last few weeks. For the next title in its giveaway, Assassin’s Creed 2 is up for grabs and you should definitely check it out. The game that cemented the series as a yearly staple for the company, it’s basically the blueprint for every open-world game since (for better or worse).

While an official announcement hasn’t been made, industry analyst Daniel Ahmad spotted the freebie on a German-language discount site. It seems Ubisoft ticked a box too early, but that’s a-okay! It just means we can actually get excited about this next freebie.

Only 2 will be free, but its semi-sequels Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood and Revelations will be offered on discount. That means you can complete the “Ezio Trilogy” and get a ton of gameplay for very little coin. Brotherhood is probably the most mechanically sound of the three, but Revelations is definitely okay enough to try.

Either way, you can’t go wrong here. Assassin’s Creed may have evolved past Ezio’s particular game, but it still remains a fan favorite for good reason. If this has your interested piqued, make sure to keep on eye on Uplay starting April 14.
