There are hundreds of armor sets in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey, and one of the best is the Pilgrim Set. It’s a classic assassin outfit, featuring the traditional hood, and the white with the red trim color scheme. It can also be seen on the statue that comes with the Kassandra Edition of the game.
Equipping the whole set reduces the stamina use on the Shadow of Nyx skill to nothing, allowing you to be completely invisible until you attack someone (we picked Shadow of Nyx as one of our top assassin skills in the game). The set is therefore a must-have for the stealth players out there, but it’s not the easiest to find. The pieces are scattered across the map, hidden in legendary chests, which in turn are inside guarded temples. Here are all the details needed to track down the five pieces.
5 Pilgrim’s Hood
At the maximum level of 99, the Pilgrim’s Hood has an armor rating of 2543, as well as adding 25% assassin damage and 30% damage with daggers.
It can be found in the Eleusis Telestarion in the Sanctuary of Eleusis, which is in the west of Attika on the Sacred Plain of Demeter. There is no fast travel point nearby, but it’s roughly the same distance from the Temple of Asklepios in Piraeus to the south, the Temple of Apollo in the Valley of King Lelex to the west, and the Abandoned Watchtower in the Ruins of Plataia to the north.
The only objective here is the treasure, so it’s a pretty easy location to complete. There are plenty of entrances to the main temple, but the bad news is the chest is in a smaller building right in the middle, surrounded by mid-level guards. Getting in is fairly easy by entering towards the back of the main temple, climbing over the smaller one, then dropping into the entrance when no one is looking. Getting out without being spotted is harder, and if you are you can either make a run for it or stand and fight. Best to make things easier by assassinating a few soldiers on the way in if you plan to fight them.
4 Pilgrim’s Garment
The Pilgrim’s Garment adds 25% assassin damage and 50% adrenaline on assassin kill and has an armor rating of 3303 once it’s been upgraded to the maximum.
This one is in the Temple of Athena in Sparta. You’ll find it to the west of the city, right next to the Temple of Athena Chalkioikos fast travel point.
This is probably the hardest item to get hold of from this set. There are only a few guards, but they are quite high-level. Plus sneaking in to the temple is virtually impossible as there is only one entrance with two guards looking directly at it. The best way to grab the garment is probably to be patient and wait until you are levelled up enough to take them on. If you’re determined to sneak in then leveling up Shadow of Nyx would be a definite help (you’ll need to be level 23 for the first tier). To complete the location you’ll also need to kill the captain, and you’ll definitely need to have upped your assassin or warrior skills and damage for that.
3 Pilgrim’s Gloves
Fully upgrade the Pilgrim’s Gloves and they will have an armor rating of 1817, plus they’ll add 25% assassin damage and 30% adrenaline per hit.
They can be found in the Akropolis temple in Argos, in the region of Argolis. The Akropolis is on the west of the city, and the closest fast travel point is the Temple of Poseidon in the center of Argos.
There are lots of mid-level guards here, but they are pretty easy to sneak past if you watch their movements. The chest that the gloves are in is up the stairs to the right as you come in the front of the temple. There are also two other chests if you want to pick those up, and you’ll need to take out the guard captain to complete the location.
2 Pilgrim’s Belt
The level 99 Pilgrim’s Belt adds 25% assassin damage and 50% adrenaline on assassin kill, and has an armor rating of 3303.
It can be found in Pandora’s Cove area of Malis. It’s in the Temple of the Golden-Bowed Goddess, guarded by Daughters of Artemis huntresses. You’ll find it to the north-west of Pandora’s Cove, right next to the Ruins of Artemis fast travel point.
The huntresses are low-level, although they do have a bear with them. Unlike the other locations the temple is in ruins, which means lots of open space to creep around. Getting hold of the treasure is pretty easy when sneaking, as is opening a second chest and grabbing an ancient tablet on top of the columns. To complete the location you’ll need to take out the Lead Huntress, and this will alert her pet bear. The huntresses all have flaming arrows, so watch out for that if you do decide to fight them.
1 Pilgrim’s Boots
Once upgraded to the maximum level the Pilgrim’s Boots will have an armor rating of 1817 and will add 25% assassin damage and 40% movement speed while crouching.
They’re hidden in Little Egypt on Messara, at the Temple of Britomartis. There’s no fast travel point immediately nearby, but it’s not too far from the dock at Kydonia. The temple is also the location of a stash of obsidian glass, an objective in the “Say That Again!” side quest.
The temple has a group of high-level soldiers, but luckily the chest with the boots in is actually outside the north side of the temple, next to the statue of Britomartis. A second chest can also be found on the balcony and there is one pile of war supplies to burn, both of which can be done pretty stealthily. If you want to complete the objective you’ll also need to kill the captain, so you’ll want to wait until you’re a higher level to do that.
