While Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla isn’t completely different from a typical entry in the series, it does some things that set it apart from the rest. For instance, the title doesn’t include traditional side quests; instead, it has mysteries. One element that makes these events stand out is that they don’t include objective markers or waypoints for you to follow. The lack of hand-holding these tasks give you is refreshing in a contemporary title.

However, there’s a particular mystery in Lundun called Falling Stars that could’ve done with giving you some guidance. You find a piece of a journal that informs you of the break-up of the Gleeman Band. What the paper doesn’t tell you is that it’s up to you to reunite them. So, here is all the information you need to get the band back together.

Trigger The Mystery

To trigger the Mystery, you need to find the journal entry. Thankfully, finding the piece of paper is easy as it’s at the one marker the game gives you for the event. To be specific, you can find the journal on top of some red rugs, surrounded by flowers and crying fans.

Finding And Convincing Kitt

One band member isn’t too far from where you found the journal. Just head to Saint Paul’s Cathedral, and once you’re in the area, you may hear her music.

She’s sitting and playing her instrument close to a giant tree. Talk to her to learn that she’s having some financial trouble. You can then pay her debt of 50 Silver to get her to reunite with her band.

Finding And Convincing Ysane

Once you’ve got Kitt on board, you can head out of the Western Gate to find Ysane sitting on a nearby rock. By speaking with her, you find out that she’s struggling with writer’s block as she can’t come up with another poem. Her problem is that she’s recently had her heart broken, so she can’t write about love.

You get the option of suggesting she writes about either glory or breakfast, instead. The topic of her new ballad isn’t the most important decision in the game as she agrees to rejoin the band regardless of what you choose.

Finding And Convincing Cynewulf

After talking to the other characters, you’ll likely get the sense that Cynewulf is the problematic one of the group. Thus, it comes as no surprise that he’s currently a prisoner within Crepelgate Fort. You must head to the fortress in the northwest area of Lundun to rescue him — the fort is labeled on the map.

He’s not kept in a special place within the area, as he’s just in one of the cages that are left of the main entrance. Naturally, there’s an abundance of guards within the stronghold, so it’s up to you whether you storm in swinging your axe or find a more stealthy way. If you’re going for the loud approach, it’s best to release some of the prisoners around Cynewulf as they’re not afraid to fight their captors.

Once you get to the former band member, free him using the prompt, and you’ll engage in conversation. He reveals that he’s locked up because of his promiscuous behavior and then agrees to play with the band again. Thankfully, you can just leave at this point as you don’t need to escort him out of the hostile place.

The Reunion

For the last bit of the quest, you must return to where you find the journal at the beginning. Go into the crowd and use the ‘interact’ prompt. The Gleeman Band will play for a little bit before the game informs you that the World Event is completed.
