Probably the single most annoying you can experience when you’re playing a video game is when the story comes to a dead stop. This could be a game whose series just didn’t get another sequel, or one where the writers just didn’t decide it was important enough to have an ending. One where the plot was getting juicy with incredible details, and (out of nowhere), the trail stops cold. No matter how many lore videos you look up or how many fan stories you find online, none of them lead to any solid conclusion....

Disney have a reputation for making great family-friendly movies. Since way back in the 1920s, when Mickey Mouse was created, they have spun out movie after movie to delight and entertain children and families across the globe. Many Disney creations are now considered classic animations; such as Cinderella, Snow White and Beauty and The Beast. Moving away from fairy tales they’ve also produced many of their own successful shorts and full-length features starring Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and other in-house cartoon creations....

Last week I reviewed Animal Crossing: New Horizons. It’s always a challenge to review a game of this type, due to the sheer length of time it takes to discover everything. While I had all the basics down and a little bit of Time Traveling magic helped me figure out some of the later tasks, one thing that is only really obvious over a much longer period of time is the reality of sharing an island....

Any long time Animal Crossing player knows that a huge part of the franchise involves being in debt to Tom Nook and New Horizons is no exception. Nook, who has a one Tanuki monopoly on the entire island, is in charge of housing, construction, and guest relations. He also oversees the island’s main store, which is run by his nephews Timmy and Tommy. It’s easy to see why players are now going to extreme lengths to pay off their debts to him....

Animal Crossing is one of the fastest-selling games of all times, Harvest Moon/Story of Seasons has been around since the SNES. The games have a lot in common; move into a new town, make friends with your neighbors, and help the town develop. The games are paced differently though as Animal Crossing is meant to be played daily, while Harvest Moon can be binged played. Both games also take hours of in-game playtime to “beat,” which is really just the point that the player feels like they have been satisfied with their progress....

BioWare is planning to totally revamp Anthem’s loot system, and it sounds like it might be the fix that Anthem fans have been waiting for. Too bad it’s about a year too late. Anthem has been in redesign mode for the past six months or so with a skeleton crew of about 30 working to reboot BioWare’s failed looter shooter. Things have been mostly silent since February with more news getting out about BioWare’s plans for Dragon Age 4 than Anthem....

Since the game was released in 2019, Apex Legends has become one of the biggest Battle Royale games out right out now. The game offers a variety of characters that gamers can choose to play as. The start of Season 9 brought in a new Legend for fans and among other additions, the developers added character emotes. The emotes are something that players can do in the game as a little bit of fun....
