Apex Legends is the latest title to hit the battle royale genre. Unsurprisingly, and similar to other games that came before it, developer Respawn Entertainment reported that the game has already been plagued by cheaters who are looking to find ways to gain an unfair advantage over other players. In a developer update posted on Reddit, Respawn revealed its stance on cheating, assuring fans that the studio has heard their feedback and hinted of plans to add an in-game reporting feature soon....

Apex Legends Global Series has shifted its Apex Legends tournament to a purely online format and added three events to its schedule. The changes were implemented as the world goes into lockdown to help manage the coronavirus pandemic. ALGS has also postponed its Bucharest event, Premier Event #2, until further notice. The move to host the tournament online is part of ALGS’ ‘Stay and Play’ initiative, a campaign set up to aid the pandemic efforts across the globe....
