Season 5 of Apex Legends is set to kick off in only a few days, and players have so much to look forward to with the addition of Loba, new PvE Season Quests, and Salvage, the newest area to explore. Some players may be disappointed unfortunately as Chad Armstrong, a Designer at Respawn Entertainment, has confirmed that there will be no new weapon this season. This will mark the first season in which a brand-new weapon will not be added to the game....

Apex Legends cosplays have become extremely popular since Respawn Entertainment’s battle royale released nearly two years ago. Characters have very unique appearance and elaborate outfits, which makes for some very impressive cosplays. Some extremely detailed cosplays have been shown off, including Season 7 legend Horizon. While many of the Apex Legends characters are very popular to cosplay as like Wraith and Loba, Season 3 legend Crypto does not seem to pop up in cosplays as often....

Apex Legends can attribute at least part of its staggering success to Twitch, where the battle royal game overtook Fortnite as the most popular game. To celebrate that success, Twitch Prime and Respawn have partnered to offer some items for Apex Legends players and subscribers. Current Twitch Prime subscribers can now log-in, connect their EA account to their Twitch account, and earn a limited-availability Apex Legends Twitch Prime Pack. After linking their Twitch and EA accounts, players will be able to load up Apex Legends and see their items, which include 5 standard Apex Packs and an exclusive Legendary Omega Point Pathfinder skin....

Steve Downes recorded a lot of death screams for Halo. Like, a lot. A skilled player might not even realize when the death screams are repeating. But there is definitely one death scream for Master Chief that no Halo fan will ever forget. That’s the Goofy Yell tribute from Halo 2. In this case, Goofy refers to the classic Disney characters who calls out “WAAAAAHOOOHOOOHOOHOOOEEEEEeeee…” whenever he falls from a great height, as used to happen frequently when he starred in short films....

Donnie Darko first premiered at Sundance Film Festival on January 9 of 2001. Twenty-eight days, six hours, 42 minutes, 12 seconds, and twenty years later, the film is still as unique, as mysterious, and as watchable as it was then. With a budget of just $4.5 million, the film made $7.5 million in the box office during its theatrical release, which began on October 26 of 2001. It was not a particularly impressive box office, but this was only a little over a month following the September 11 attacks....

Bad guys always seem to have much more fun. In terms of evil factions, the Ginyu Force combined sheer power and ferocity with utter silly nonsense. As a parody of superheroes and Super Sentai teams, the Ginyu Force were known for their ridiculous behavior that involved posing, yelling of signature attacks, and engaging in often childish games, such as having a game of Rock-Paper-Scissors to determine the next combatant to battle their enemies....

CD Projekt Red was somewhat of an industry underdog before and during The Witcher 3’s release in 2015. Times have drastically changed since then, and many gamers are furious with the company for the broken state Cyberpunk 2077 released in on December 10th. It is difficult to tell what the future holds for the company, but we have no doubt they will make another large-scale RPG sometime in the next several years....

Here someone has already been killed, and finding the correct answer to the mystery can set you up with a perfect kill of your own, in addition to the information you need to glean from Dartmoor’s Thornbridge Manor. Alternatively, you could absolutely sneak around to steal the information you need, eliminate your target, and escape without ever knowing what transpired before you arrived - but that wouldn’t be as much fun, would it?...

Sometime in October of this year you’ll be able to sail the high seas from your kitchen table thanks to Rare’s decision to use Mongoose Publishing to create a tabletop RPG version of Sea of Thieves. When Sea of Thieves was released in March of 2018 it became one of many, soon to be released, cross-platform titles published by Microsoft. While it received a lot of blow-back at first due to its technical issues and lack of quests, it wasn’t soon afterward that hilarious YouTube videos helped to spark new interest in the game....

Somewhat of an unstoppable force as of late - except against hackers - Sony recently took to the stage at Gamescom 2014 to reveal that the PS4 has sold over 10 million units. Despite Microsoft piling on the pressure as they look to establish their new console, the Xbox One, the PlayStation 4 has successfully held its own in terms of sales, leading the current-gen home consoles in sales. Indeed, 10 million is on par with analyst predictions that the PS4 would sell 12 million units by the time the year was up (and we still have the busy holiday period to go)....

The video game industry has been a little unstable with its expectations in the last few years. Several top franchise games failed to meet lofty revenue goals - despite selling very well in their own right. Resident Evil 6 was deemed to have “fallen short of the plan” despite selling several million copies. Tomb Raider, which sold 3.8 million copies at the time of the report, was deemed an “extraordinary loss” by Square Enix....

Activision announces a new Ghostbusters game which will release alongside the new movie, but it’s probably not exactly what most people were hoping for. If the new Ghostbusters movie has got you feeling nostalgic, then you’re in luck. Activision has officially announced its team-up with Sony Pictures to create a new game inspired by the upcoming film. The game will take place after the events of the movie, so players won’t have to worry about spoilers....

There are nine Palaces in Persona 5 Royal, including the penultimate Mementos Palace that leads to the base game’s denouement. Some of these are great - Sae, Mementos, Maruki - while others are complete rubbish, like Kaneshiro and Okumura. I know some of you reckon the lock device in the former’s Palace is cool, and I’ve heard loads of people say Okumura’s space station is decent aside from the annoying portal things, but come on....

One of the main perks of being a Nintendo Switch Online subscribers is the ability to access retro games, primarily from the NES and SNES era, outfitted with modern day conveniences like save states, rewinding, and more. Nintendo adds new games to the Switch Online library of titles on a regular basis, with the next batch set to drop on December 18. And once this batch is released, Nintendo Switch Online subscribers will have access to all of the Super Nintendo Donkey Kong Country games....
