Each region in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla has its own set of mysteries, wealth, and main story quests. The region of Ledecestrescire is no different and one of the mysteries that you will be tasked with solving is called a World Event. This is essentially a side quest and there are a total of ten for you to complete. They are all different as some require a bit of thinking, while others utilize Eivor’s elite fighting skills....

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is the twelfth major installment and twenty-second overall release in Ubisoft’s long-running Assassin’s Creed franchise. Set in 873 AD, the game follows the story of the Viking invasion of Britain. Gamers get to control Eivor, a Viking raider who finds themselves caught up in the conflict between the Brotherhood of Assassins and the Templar Order that sees them explore the ancient cities of Winchester, London, and York. However, the game seems to have already stumbled into a bit of controversy for one line of dialogue....

Two Assassin’s Creed Valhalla players have created a map containing all Artifact and Treasure locations. The map gives players new to the game clear locations of the many valuables scattered throughout 873 AD England, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s setting. Valhalla marks Ubisoft’s 12th major installment in the Assassin’s Creed series, and the 22nd overall release in the franchise. The game has been very successful so far, doubling its Day 1 player count compared to 2018’s Assassin’s Creed Odyssey....

Ubisoft officially revealed two big expansions for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla — Wrath of the Druids and The Siege of Paris. However, the game might receive yet another major DLC drop, if a new leak is to be trusted. A hint for a third Assassin’s Creed Valhalla expansion was found by French YouTuber J0nathan in the game’s PC version files. Judging by his findings, the upcoming DLC has something to do with the word “Meteor....

Whether you love them or you hate them, there’s no denying that Disney’s Star Wars has gotten fans more passionate than ever. Even at the height of George Lucas’ reign over the series, the fandom have never been as energized as it currently is. Evan Osnos, a staff writer for The New Yorker, has become a viral sensation on Twitter over the last few days for an unfortunate problem he’s having with his iPad. Apparently, Osnos’s 3-year-old son was trying to use his father’s iPad, but inputted the wrong password too many times, causing the iPad to be disabled for 25,536,442 minutes, or a little over 48 years. This means that the iPad would be locked until 2067, at which point Osnos would be given the chance to put the correct password in again....

In the world of RPGs, there’s a kind of unspoken rule that implies narrative and characterization should be valued much higher than they are in other genres. Games like Final Fantasy 7 don’t stand out solely on the basis of their innovation, but rather because they successfully mix exciting gameplay with spell-binding worlds and characters that escape boring, two-dimensional personalities and leave a lasting impression on the gamers who inhabit their lives....

With Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare, new franchise developer Sledgehammer Games is hoping to carve their own niche for fans, while still retaining the series’ core elements. So far, it looks like they have succeeded in that endeavor, with a single player campaign that still pushes the envelope but also features some interesting slower-paced moments. Sledgehammer is also introducing some unique elements into multiplayer while also trying not to turn fans off in the process....

Although we know for certain that a new BioShock game is in development, there’s next to nothing else out there as to what the game will be about or where it will take place. Recently though, a brand new BioShock teaser website has been discovered, hinting that we could be getting some new information soon. The site is named theresalwaysalighthouse.com, which is an obvious reference to the end of 2013’s BioShock Infinite, where Booker and Elizabeth discover a realm of endless lighthouses, hinting towards the idea that there are endless worlds similar to Rapture and Columbia....

Aside from the obvious differences between the new Xbox One and the 360 that were announced at E3 2013, there is at least one other Xbox staple that is getting a slight tweak. The rumors were true, and the tweaking will be done to the Achievements system. Who better to hand out all the Gamerscore-inflating details than Cierra McDonald, the Program Manager for the Xbox Live Achievements service. She spilled the details in a write-up for Xbox Live’s Major Nelson....

Earlier this year saw me and my friends spend countless nights playing Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, returning to its iconic multiplayer as we desperately tried to fill lobbies for chaotic rounds of Free-For-All and Team Deathmatch. It was a somewhat fruitless effort, as we continued to be grouped with the same selection of dedicated people who have been playing ever since Modern Warfare 2 originally launched way back in 2009....

Last year, The Young Bucks teased that an All Elite Wrestling video game was in development. Details on the AEW video game have remained scarce since then, but recent trademarks filed by AEW may reveal one of the game modes that fans will be able to play in the new game. Fans of Age of Empires can now let out their excitement. The rumored plans for an Age of Empires event coming soon have been officially confirmed. Microsoft will host the event, officially dubbed the Age of Empires Fan Preview on April 10, starting at 9:00 AM PT. It’ll feature the game fans have been waiting for, with new footage of Age of Empires 4 as well as other games from the Age of Empires franchise, too....

Alien is one of the most influential sci-fi franchises in popular culture thanks in large part to Ridley Scott’s movie of the same name, which featured iconic creature design by legendry Swiss artist H. R. Giger. Apart from sequels and prequels, the film spawned several novels, toys, and video games like SEGA’s survival-horror shooter Alien Isolation. Now, after a long break, the next promising title in the Alien universe is coming in the form of a fan-made project titled Alien: Hope for the Future....

CD Projekt Red saw its profits plunge by nearly 50 percent in 2018, mostly because the developer is really pushing hard into new games. The company is working on launching Cyberpunk 2077 and on all of its games, it spent about 70 percent more on development than it did during 2017. It should be noted that just because profits go down, it doesn’t mean that the company isn’t doing well. Clearly company executives see spending money on game development as an investment, and with CD Projekt Red also promising a bold E3, it looks like buzz about its new projects are already hitting headlines....

Indie developer Benjamin Rivers has announced that his acclaimed sci-fi romance title Alone With You will be launching on Nintendo Switch on July 30, 2021. Retailing for $9.99, pre-orders are currently live on the Nintendo eShop with a pre-launch discount of 10% off. I would heartily recommend the game to anyone that has a penchant for puzzles and symbolic writing. Alone With You is something of a hidden gem in the indie scene and is well worth multiple playthroughs to see its different endings....

Despite releasing in 2018, Among Us is still managing to maintain its momentum from when it exploded in popularity last year. The game continues to dominate the mobile market and was even found to be the most popular game ever in terms of monthly players, having racked up a player base of almost half a billion users in November. Saying Among Us is popular these days is like saying water is wet....
