The announcement that Disney purchased Lucasfilm from George Lucas in 2012 was met with a mixture of elation and dread by many Star Wars fans. The prequels had left many fans wanting a fresh start for the series, so long as it didn’t involve George Lucas, but many also felt that Disney was the wrong company to do it. The Star Wars films that have been released so far by Disney have also been met with mixed reactions by both casual and diehard fans of the series....

As the new year kicks into gear, so too does the new console generation. Whether it’s on Microsoft’s family of boxes or Sony’s signature monolith, both companies provide worthwhile gaming experiences. The Anthem VIP Demo is right around the corner, and the game just went gold, but developer BioWare is still letting details drop about the upcoming game. BioWare’s Michael Gamble has revealed that Anthem will contain a 16-player social hub called the Launch Bay. Prior to this announcement, it appears that BioWare was not planning on including a social hub in the game, but after players expressed interest in having one in the game, Launch Bay came to be as a result....

Following the reveal of Anthem’s release date and a long-awaited trailer during Microsoft’s Xbox E3 2018 press conference, the video game developer BioWare has been steadily divulging details about what players should expect from the forthcoming action-RPG. Just recently, in fact, the studio’s Technical Design Director, Brenon Holmes, confirmed the just how big map size will be for the game’s Javelin-wearing warriors to explore. As it so happens, Holmes replied to a thread on Anthem’s official subreddit that asked if the map shown in the screenshot from user “SwellyNelly” was the going to be the game’s entire map, with the BioWare Technical Design Director confirming that aside from some segments of it that haven’t been shown, it’s basically the action-RPG’s whole world....
