Activision is coming off of the massive success that has been the Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy, so it’s no surprise that the chart-topping remaster - and remasters in general - became a talking point during Activision Blizzard’s Quarter 2 call with investors. Activision Publishing boss Eric Hirshberg was leading the call, and while he didn’t pull out specific numbers, he revealed that Crash Bandicoot exceeded Activision Blizzard’s expectations in such big fashion that the company openly confirmed more remasters will be produced in the future....

This January saw the 10th anniversary of Awesome Games Done Quick. Although the COVID-19 pandemic forced the well-known charity organization to limit itself to being online only, the fundraiser has all but suffered from the setback. A few days ago, it was announced that AGDQ had passed $1 million raised for the Prevent Cancer Foundation. Games Done Quick is far from a stranger to fundraising. Dating back as far as 2010, the charity organization has held two events every year, with the other event being Summer Games Done Quick....

Tabletop games studio Gale Force Nine announced their new Aliens tabletop game this week, and are we excited! Ridley Scott’s Alien movie hit the silver screen in 1979, kickstarting the movie franchise that would see James Cameron’s 1986 Aliens movie. It is the second movie that is the namesake of the tabletop miniatures game, and that won’t come as a surprise to fans....

Today, AMD official unveiled its Ryzen 5000 Series of Zen 3 CPUs in a livestream running just under 25 minutes long. During the broadcast, AMD announced four new CPUs, including the Ryzen 5 5600X, Ryzen 7 5800X, Ryzen 9 5900X, and AMD’s top of the line Ryzen 9 5950X. All four chips were described as gaming-focused CPUs designed to give PC gaming enthusiasts increased performance. The new AMD 5000 Series CPUs will be available starting November 5....
