Cheaters are something that players in Apex Legends have had to deal with for a while now. Respawn Entertainment has attempted to make these instances with bad actors few and far between by instituting bans for Apex players that abuse glitches and weasel their way under the map. However, it seems that one player has found the perfect counter for cheaters that enjoy using subterranean map tactics. Reddit user cheffymcchef found themselves stuck between a rock and a hard place in a clip they posted to the Apex Legends subreddit....

Arkane Studios is a French game development studio that has produced some of the most beloved video games within the last decade. While the studio is primarily known for the Dishonored franchise, the company has produced a couple of other games such as Prey, some Wolfenstein titles, and the upcoming Deathloop for the PS5. Now, the studio has announced a bundle that includes some of the company’s best games. While Arkane Studios has been around since 1999, the studio did not find mainstream critical success until the release of Dishonored back in 2012....

Further details were leaked by what appears to be the PlayStation Store. Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag was a high point in the series, and there’s no doubt that was due to two things: the naval combat, which offered a fun and dramatic alternative to the hand-to-hand melees gamers were used to, and the sea chanties sung by the player’s sailors on their boat....

The latest rendition of Assassin’s Creed is here, and the reception has been positive overall. Despite the many iterations of this series since its debut over a decade ago, Ubisoft has largely made the experience feel new again with its atmospheric Viking themes and settings. Added to this are the particularly large scale open-worlds, rewarding progression system, and plenty of fun action-based combat. With its majestic motifs and enjoyable gameplay, many are likely to yearn for similar experiences after fighting and raiding their way through Assassin’s Creed Valhalla....

Resident Evil Village provides a continuation to the events of Resident Evil 7, once again following the newly minted Resident Evil protagonist, Ethan Winters, as he attempts to rescue his family from some monstrous foes in a mountainous landscape in Eastern Europe. Ethan himself has quickly become a fan-favorite character in the Resident Evil universe, finding a spot among heroes like Chris Redfield, Jill Valentine, and Leon Kennedy, and Village is a great dive into the character’s psyche, what makes him tick, and where he came from....

Following Alien Isolation’s recent FPS boost across Xbox Series X and S, plus Resident Evil Village whetting my appetite for scares, I’ve ventured back to Creative Assembly’s criminally underplayed sci-fi cult classic. The first-person survival horror crawled its way onto consoles and PC back in 2014, immediately cementing itself as one of the greatest licensed games ever conceived. You could throw critiques at its overlong campaign and frustrating stealth sequences, but Isolation encapsulated the horror of being stranded in space with a seemingly unstoppable monster almost perfectly, so much so that returning to it for only a few brief moments instilled in me a sense of terror I haven’t felt in years....

Sony has given no indication that the PS5 price will be announced at the game reveal event today. The event is expected to focus almost entirely on upcoming PS5 games, specifically titles that will be available for the PS5 at launch or within the next-generation console’s launch window. The presentation is over an hour long and will definitely have a lot of exciting PS5 announcements, even if the console’s price isn’t one of them....
