Antebellum is the debut feature-length film by writer/director duo Gerard Bush and Christopher Renz. In the film, they aim to explore what happens when the past, present, and future collide in a time where activism against injustice is prevalent. And it comes from one of the producers of the successful thriller, Get Out, which seems to be a regular announcement made among horror and thriller films these days. When you see those words pop up on the screen, expect a movie with a strong social message....

There are few franchises that have seen as many changes and distinct themes as Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed. Each game very much does its own thing; bound mainly through their action-stealth qualities and historical-fiction settings. It is iconic, stylish and full of action, but it still embraces the goofiness of its premise and the campiness of its characters. Square Enix held a twentieth-anniversary live stream for the Dragon Quest Monsters series, during which they announced that a port of Dragon Quest Monsters: Terry’s Wonderland 3D was coming to smartphones and that a new entry in the series was coming to consoles in the future, which would star Erik and Mia from Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age. All we know about the upcoming Dragon Quest Monsters game is that it’s a fresh new entry in the series and won’t be connected to the world of the Joker titles....
