Guilty Gear Strive is going to be one of the most exciting fighting games of 2021 - it would almost certainly be number one, if it weren’t for the recent announcement of Virtua Fighter 5: Ultimate Showdown coming to PS4 in less than a week. But regardless of the competition, Guilty Gear Strive is still an incredible achievement just in the form it takes for the online beta. It is a brand new, gorgeous fighting game, with deep mechanics, and the one thing every competitive fighter begs for: rollback netcode....

Due to the backdrop of the Assassin’s Creed series, fans generally wonder what is historically accurate and what isn’t. Ubisoft has done a pretty good job at making the crux of the matter faithful to the events of the past, although there have been many times they’ve taken liberties. There are instances in the series that have ignored factual matters or presented characters and themes that fit the games’ narrative. All in all, these are moments where the series basically dusted its hands off the pages of history and steered control for itself....

The latest entry in the venerable Assassin’s Creed series is once again making waves, this time with a brand new set of trailers revealed at Gamescom 2018. Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is one of 2018’s most anticipated releases, not only because it’s another entry in a major triple-A series, but because it looks to update the series with new ideas and present a fresh experience for fans and newcomers alike....

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla moves the open-world assassin action to ninth-century Europe during the Viking Age. The story stars a Viking raider named Eivor, who will travel from Norway to several kingdoms of Medieval England to wage war against the Anglo-Saxon kingdoms led by Alfred the Great. As Eivor, you’ll explore the kingdoms of Wessex, Northumbria, East Anglia, and Mercia, while visiting cities like Winchester, London, and York. Most exciting of all is the fact that this will be the first next-gen entry in the series, making the jump to Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 4 this November....

The Final Fantasy series is known for its in-depth characters and long storylines filled with adventure and fighting. There are often hundreds of people to talk to and trade with, learn more about the world from, and even perform special tasks for. There is no shortage of content in this series, but we suspect that amount of gameplay is what makes up for there being no real online multiplayer. That always seems the case....

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Season 5 has officially arrived, bringing with it new maps, weapons, operators, and skins. Alllllllrighty then, it looks like Ace Ventura fans might finally be reaching the end of a 26-year drought. Ace Ventura 3 is reportedly in the works, and it looks to be bringing the writers behind a certain spiky blue blur with it. As part of a recent interview, production company Morgan Creek Entertainment teased the idea of an upcoming sequel to the series that turned Jim Carrey into a household name (and even forged a roundabout connection with game developer CD Projekt Red)....

HBO’s The Last of Us adaptation found itself a Joel and Ellie earlier this year with Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey respectively, but now, it has just been announced that Terminator antagonist and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. hero Gabriel Luna will be playing Joel’s brother, Tommy. He played the devilish avenger Ghost Rider in the hit Marvel television series, so he’s no stranger to morally grey characters, and while he doesn’t look an awful lot like the games’ Tommy, fans are already pointing out that he is a great choice to compliment Pascal as his fictional brother....

To kick off the all-new Fortnite Season 3, a whole new wave of content has been added to the game. Most of the content from Season 2 has been removed, which includes a slew of different Points of Interests and the entirety of Team Ghost.
