Today, Ubisoft premiered the first cinematic trailer for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, which is the upcoming twelfth major installment in the Assassin’s Creed series. Apart from the latest preview, Ubisoft also revealed some details concerning Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s pre-order bonuses and special editions. First, players who will pre-order Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will receive an additional mission called The Way of the Berserker, which is an extra mission that will revolve around Eivor joining a legendary Norse Berserker on a revenge quest....

20. Body Snatchers (1993) So of the many versions of Invasion of the Body Snatchers that are out there, the 1993 take is definitely one of the more forgettable takes on the classic tale. The film offers the same impact of some of the other takes on this story, but Body Snatchers uses the AIDS epidemic as a timely counterpoint and still finds something original to say. The movie still provides creepy, cocoon-y visuals and it knows when to pay homage to its predecessors....

To my mind, the world of comic books is very much akin to world of Metal Gear Solid. By this, I mean there’s a whole heaping helping of melodrama and intrigue going on, and it can get quite heavy at times… but just when it’s about to, an equal portion of utter ridiculousness is added to the mix. Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald has arrived as the next adventure through the Wizarding World that began with the Harry Potter series. While the reviews have been a bit lacking, fans have raved about the movie, discussing how it sheds some new light on the backstory behind many beloved characters, especially in the case of Albus Dumbledore and Gellert Grindelwald. As a prequel to an established series, it goes without saying that The Crimes of Grindelwald has plenty of references and easter eggs to the Harry Potter series as well as its capitalizing on elements established in its predecessor, Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them....

A cryptic Tweet from the Rainbow Six Twitter account appears to be teasing Rainbow Six: Quarantine news coming May 4. The Tweet in question shows a green background covered in scratches and the date May 4 highlighted. A caption attached reads, “We scoured the Earth, looking for salvation”. The Rainbow Six logo has also been updated to glow an other-worldly green. The combination of the alien ooze-like colour and the weird caption instantly brings to mind Rainbow Six: Quarantine, which hasn’t had any official news announced in some time, despite gameplay clips leaking online earlier this year....

With a rumored Legend of Zelda live-action series potentially in development, there’s a lot to speculate - or hope for. Regardless of how such a series decides to cast or write its characters, there’s no doubt that the role of the titular Princess Zelda and how she is portrayed could be a make-it-or-break-it aspect of the show. According to Deadline, Abbott Elementary’s second episode saw the network’s highest comedy ratings among 18 to 49 year olds since the Modern Family series finale in 2020. The Last of Us 2 carried a lot of controversy with its success, particularly our conflicting feelings towards Abby. Laura Bailey’s character was an integral addition to the sequel’s narrative, but the actor had a foot in The Last of Us series long before Abby entered the picture - claw hammer in hand. It was yet another tremendous success for an event that is quickly becoming a must-watch showcase for a formerly niche section of gaming culture. Teba may have been a somewhat forgettable Champion’s descendant in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild since he was only loosely associated with Revali and Vah Medoh’s quest was quite short, but in Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, he is able to stand out even among the original Champions and is one of the better fighters in the roster. While Teba may be armed with his bow, he, unlike Revali, isn’t limited by his attack choices....

Hideo Kojima debuts an alternate trailer for his forthcoming project Death Stranding during PlayStation Experience 2016 that features new and different music. Over the weekend at PlayStation Experience 2016, Hideo Kojima sat in on a panel for Death Stranding hosted by Canadian gaming journalist Geoff Keighley in which the two were joined by the likes of the PlayStation 4 architect Mark Cerny and Guerrilla Games managing director Hermen Hulst to discuss the game’s ideas and visuals, leading to the reveal of the project running on the Decima Engine....
