Flora has a very sparsely decorated house. Turns out, there’s a reason for that. Some Animal Crossing: New Horizons players may have the good fortune of having Flora as a villager on your island. She’s an honest delight, full of energy, and always excited to see the player in every encounter. Her home, however, is a bit odd. On the outside, it’s a simple dwelling encased in pink paint (itself not particularly strange in Animal Crossing), but on the inside, it’s very sparsely furnished....

I have always liked Persona 5, but it never fully clicked with me enough for it to be a game that I could love. There are a few reasons for that, not least its sluggishly long runtime, but for the most part, I couldn’t quite put my finger on why. But after playing through Persona 5 Strikers and enjoying it significantly more, I think I’ve figured out why. Joker shouldn’t be the lead of Persona 5 - Ann should be, and the whole game just feels lopsided with Joker in control....

Anthem has only been available in early access for less than a week and already players are looking for good sources of farming loot. It’s here a week earlier than predicted, but Apex Legends fans are hardly going to complain about the Aftermarket Collection Event hitting the game on October 6. With it will come 24 new cosmetics, a new Flashpoint limited-time mode, and best of all, crossplay between PC and console users. Crossplay was discussed earlier in the summer at the EAPlay event, promising to bring Apex Legends fans from Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam and Origin all under one roof....

Apex Legends has confirmed that a new legend is coming this season in addition to Octane. Or should we say, Sony has quietly confirmed that a new legend is still incoming. Season 1 launched on March 19th with a great new theme, a great new patch, and a great new Legend in the form of Octane, the high-speed thrillseeker. There was also a Battle Pass launched that could potentially net you tons of rewards provided you spent every waking moment playing Apex Legends for the rest of the season....

Studio Wildcard co-founder and ARK: Survival Evolved developer Jeremy Stieglitz discusses the potential of Project Scorpio, suggesting the console will have VR support. During Microsoft’s E3 2016 press conference, Head of Xbox Phil Spencer teased fans about the potential of Project Scorpio, said to be the most powerful home console ever when it releases later this year. Despite the promise of immense processing power, there’s still a lot of unknowns when it comes to Project Scorpio and the console’s unique features, but recent comments by ARK: Survival Evolved developer Jeremy Stieglitz suggest that Microsoft’s new system will have full virtual reality support, as previously speculated....

We know Assassin’s Creed 3 will be good, the only question is how much it will surprise, impress, and promise even bigger things for the future of the franchise. If the latest peek behind the scenes and ‘Into The Wild’ is any indication, Ubisoft is aiming high. We’re not talking about the politically-charged themes of social justice, racial tolerance, or self-identity. We’re not even talking about the overhauled combat and traversal mechanics....

Fans of Ubisoft’s latest entry in the Assassin’s Creed series, Assassin’s Creed Origins, have a new reason to return to the title. The launch of its third installment of downloadable content is at hand with The Curse of the Pharaohs. Following on from The Hidden Ones, and Discovery Tour, Assassin’s Creed Origins’ first and second DLC packs, respectively, The Curse of the Pharaohs sends players to the ancient city of Thebes and other well-known historical locations, ranging from the Valley of the Kings – the location of most of the more famous pharaonic tombs – to the temple complexes of Karnak and Luxor....

Fans are clamoring to know more about the recently-revealed Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, and one of the biggest questions is exactly how much it’ll resemble its direct predecessor Odyssey, particularly when it comes to player choice and multiple endings. While Ubisoft hasn’t answered those questions directly yet, there are plenty of hints sprinkled throughout the details that have already been revealed for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Before yesterday’s (admittedly lackluster) gameplay reveal, it would’ve made sense to have these questions answered in the trailer–yet all it included were gameplay videos captured on Xbox Series X....

The new Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will feature both a male and female version of the game’s protagonist, Eivor. Taking it one step further Ubisoft will be shipping statues of the female hero with Collector’s Editions of the game. Assassin’s Creed takes place in civilizations across the world from all different points of history, recreating the struggle between the Assassins and the Templars. 2020’s Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will follow Eivor and his or her viking clan as they go from ninth century Norway to England....

As you begin your story in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, you are given several cosmetic customization options to make your version of Eivor look how you’d like him or her to. However, thanks to a new mod called Eivor Customizer by Nexus Mods, PC players will now have a whole new level customization options for their Viking protagonist. This mod allows players to customize Eivor’s hair colour, beard, head/body, skin tones, and detailed body proportions....

Coming off the popularity of Gen I, Gen II really solidified the Pokémon franchise as the successful behemoth it is today, and set it on the right path towards success. The games added a bunch of features and built off greatly from what fans had gotten accustomed to with Gen I. Earlier this summer, rumors pointed to Halo Infinite ditching its Xbox One version in favor of being console exclusive to the Xbox Series X. Those rumors turned out to be false, but the speculation was kicked up again after a 343 Industries employee’s LinkedIn profile only named the PC and Xbox Series X versions of the game. Now 343 has yet again denied the Halo Infinite Xbox One cancellation rumors, meaning that the current-gen version of the game is still very much on the way....
