Created in 1997, this show featured a group of kids destined to help protect the Digital World: a place where monsters not of this world existed. This show was based on the popular trend of digital pets like Tamagotchis, only with more of an adventure and action twist. The franchise consisted of several different shows, toys and popular games that a lot of kids loved....
The creative process is often a convoluted one, with many twists and turns along the way. Disney movies are no different in this aspect. From concept to script, storyboard to animation, voicing to post-production, lots of changes occur before the final theatrical release. Changes even occur after release in some cases. These can be simple cosmetic tweaks such as shortening the height of a character. They can also be drastic visual changes such as hair color swaps....
With the majority of Disney films, the main characters tend to be very young adults who go on all sorts of magical adventures. And with most Disney animated movies, especially the classics like Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty, the story focuses on a young woman who ends up meeting a handsome guy and falling in love. The two then get married and live happily ever after. Even with odd or random sequels, there’s very few times where we get to actually see what their happily ever after is like....

Man of Steel and Gal Gadot’s solo film are the only two entries to garner an aggregate score of more than 50% on Rotten Tomatoes....
It’s hard to believe how long ago Rugrats actually aired. It’s amazing how a show that was about nothing more than babies playing or creating adventures in their own backyard ran for so long. Alongside the nine seasons, Rugrats also spawned three movies: The Rugrats Movie, Rugrats in Paris, and Rugrats Go Wild. Let’s not forget the two spin-offs, Preschool Daze and All Grown Up! It was a very sweet little show that still holds up today, fourteen years after the series ended....

Without a shadow of a doubt, Sony has dominated the current console generation. Frankly, the eighth generation has been a wash, and Sony’s exclusives have aided in maintaining the momentum amassed by the console’s strong start. Horizon Zero Dawn, God of War, Persona 5, and Marvel’s Spider-Man are enticing incentives for purchasing a PlayStation 4; however, the console boasts quite a number of neat features....
A new test flight was announced for Halo: The Master Chief Collection by 343 Industries via the Halo Waypoint blog. The test flight should be live around late February or early March. One of the most notable points from the series of updates was that the flight will also feature “a new place and way to play.” It’s anybody’s guess what this statement could mean. The popular theories are that it could be a reference to the highly anticipated custom games browser feature, or that the Master Chief Collection could be coming to the Epic Game Store....
343 Industries is currently hard at work wrapping up production on Halo Infinite, getting the highly anticipated first-person shooter prepared for launch this holiday season. But 343 isn’t a one-game studio and Halo Infinite isn’t the end of 343’s plans for the franchise, and if a long history of diverse Halo releases isn’t enough evidence of that, a new job listing should make it clear. 343 is itself confirming that it has more Halo in the works in the future....

Bleach is returning on the back of an eight-year hiatus. The Japanese anime series, based on Tite Kubo’s manga and produced by Studio Pierrot, kicked off in 2004 and its last episode aired in 2012. According to the most recent Jump Magazine issue (H/T Newsweek), the popular Shonen anime will make a comeback in 2021 and present the “Thousand-Year Blood War,” which began in the manga’s Chapter 480 and went through to the culmination of the series in Chapter 686....
There’s no doubt that there are legions of gamers who would love to see a followup to Remedy Entertainment’s 2010 action-adventure release, Alan Wake, but the developer’s CEO Tero Virtala has declared that development has yet to move forward on a sequel due to the IP’s owner, Microsoft, not giving the go ahead. While it looks as if a direct continuation of the game series may take quite some time, it looks as if the property may at least come back in the form of a television series....
Just days after the announcement that eSports were becoming an Olympic event in the 2022 Asian Games, another milestone breakthrough for the fledgling profession has been unveiled. Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri became the first all-women’s school to offer a varsity eSports program, and the program will be arriving in the fall of 2017 fully supported by a scholarship system as well. According to the Stephens College website, the all-women’s varsity team will be specifically targeting participation and success within Blizzard’s Overwatch leagues, and will be set to compete in the Tespa Collegiate Series as early as next year....
After a hefty amount of alpha testing, and a delay from May of this year to August 25th, it looked like New World would finally be ready to go. And yet, with only a few weeks left until beta testing was supposed to begin, the game’s release has been postponed once more. And this time, it’s not just for a few months. In a New World dev diary, Studio Director Rich Lawrence states that the studio has been “taking input from [their] Alpha audience”, and that he’s “proud of the hard work the team has done”....
August will be a quiet month on Prime Video UK leading up to the arrival of The Boys season 2 in the first week of September, but there are still a few things to look forward to before Billy Butcher and co. get back to ridding the world of megalomaniacal superheroes and their enablers. Towards the end of August on Prime, Stargirl will be streaming for UK viewers. The DC Universe show has received strong reviews and will be back for a second season eventually....
