As ARK: Survival Evolved slowly inches its way from Early Access to its scheduled 2017 official release, Studio Wildcard has taken the next big step in the form of a brand new major content update for consoles. Titled the “v255” update, this patch was previously released to PC owners last month and is now available for free to all PlayStation 4 players. On Wednesday, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla got its first major update since it’s day one patch. Besides adding Performance and Quality Modes to next-gen consoles, it also included quality-of-life fixes, performance, and stability improvements across all platforms. 2K Games revealed why NBA 2K21 is more expensive on PS5 and Xbox Series X than it is on current-generation consoles. Fans were taken aback earlier today when it was confirmed that NBA 2K21 on next-gen would cost $10 more than NBA 2K21 on PS4 and Xbox One. In a statement to Polygon, a 2K Games spokesperson defended the price hike, explaining that “we believe our suggested retail price for NBA 2K21 on next-generation platforms fairly represents the value of what’s being offered,” pointing to the “power, speed, and technology” available on PS5 and Xbox Series X....

Pokemon GO players have been spending the beginning of the new year looking forward to 25th Anniversary events, the latest of which was a special “GO Tour” that highlighted the Kanto region. Following in the footsteps of the GO Tour: Kanto’s theme, trainers are being invited to partake in a Kanto Celebration which promises more opportunities to encounter Pokemon’s original 151 monsters. While the Kanto Celebration didn’t introduce any new Pokemon, the aforementioned GO Tour event finished introducing the Shiny variants of all original 151 Pokemon to Pokemon GO....
