While many eyes were stuck solidly on the E3 2017 press conferences, a rather significant announcement was made with regards to ARK: Survival Evolved. Developer Studio Wildcard has finally been able to set a full release date for the hugely popular early access survival game, and now ARK: Survival Evolved has a confirmed release date of August 8, 2018. The news of the release date was confirmed via an official announcement from Studio Wildcard itself, stating that “ARK: Survival Evolved has entered its final phase of core production, and will hit worldwide retail and digital release” on August 8, 2017....

Last month, a hoax Internet challenge known as the Momo Suicide Game had taken the world by storm and caused a worldwide panic. However, the artist that created the artwork has now revealed that the creepy sculpture has already been destroyed. It has been claimed that the bizarre challenge would suddenly pop out of nowhere in the middle of YouTube videos targeted for kids. It didn’t take long for the Momo Suicide Challenge to invade the world of gaming after several reports claimed that the challenge was now present in a plethora of Fortnite-related videos....

While it was previously confirmed both Assassin’s Creed: Origins and Final Fantasy 15 would have respective content for each other, how that would appear in Assassin’s Creed: Origins had not been revealed. Final Fantasy 15 received Assassin’s Creed: Origins-inspired DLC in the form of an Assassin outfit for Noctis and the Assassin’s Festival DLC. Now, YouTuber SPGamer has found a hidden puzzle that could connect the two games. In Assassin’s Creed: Origins, there is a hieroglyph that contains an image resembling Noctis, but SPGamer discovered something more substantial: a large sundial puzzle that leads to a hidden temple....

The past few weeks haven’t been kind to Ubisoft. The French publisher/developer has seen a wave of accusations against a number of its top employees that range from disappointing to downright disgusting and that mentality has reportedly poured over into the development of its games. Case in point for today, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey was supposedly going to star lady warrior Kassandra, but Ubisoft believed that “women don’t sell.” The report comes from Jason Schreier of Bloomberg, who went into detail about the sexist and misogynistic culture that the company has cultivated over the years....

Captain Marvel released in theaters just a few days ago, letting eager Marvel fans (“Marvel” the company, not necessarily “Marvel” the character in this movie) catch a glimpse of the potential savior of the Avengers. While the movie is not a crime against humanity, it is not exactly the greatest achievement in cinema history. Captain Marvel functions as your average, run-of-the-mill super-hero flick. While Microsoft had their first outing with the Xbox during the 6th gen and Sega had their final one with the Dreamcast, there were realistically two titans that people revisit when they decide they’d like to get into a now-retro console from that generation. Although FromSoftware’s Elden Ring was announced at E3 2019, there has been silence ever since leading fans to speculate about the nature of the game. The only confirmation that was given to fans was that Elden Ring would be a natural evolution to the Dark Souls franchise and it would feature an open-field setting. Samurai Shodown will be getting a new “Smell Of The Game” as a Guilty Gear character will be joining the roster. No specific release date has been given for the character, and we don’t even know who it is. However, we are aware that this will fill the last slot in Samurai Shodown’s third season pass, similarly to the Warden from Ubisoft’s For Honor last year. This Guilty Gear character, whoever they are, will be bundled with the boisterous Cham Cham and The Last Blade’s Hibiki Takane....
