We’ve known for a little while now that next-gen games are going to cost $70. First, it was NBA 2K21’s leaked sticker price, and then Sony just came out and said that premium next-gen games are going to come with a price bump of $10. The argument we’re getting from game developers is that AAA games cost more to make, so the price has to go up. This despite record industry profits and CEO pay bonuses while employees are struggling to make ends meet....

Apex Legends fans have been enjoying the new Lost Treasures Collection Event update to the game, even though it introduced a few issues. Just a few days ago, we found out that Kuben Blisk was returning to Apex Legends. However, that reveal was nothing compared to what was just dropped on us with the launch of Season Six, which teased something big. Lucky us—Nintendo announced that it’s releasing The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword on the Switch this coming July. Overwatch player Becca “Aspen” Rukavina has left Cloud9 after a year of streaming under the organization’s name. She was originally signed as an Overwatch streamer in July of 2018. In a video released on her Twitter, she states that she hopes to play professionally in the Overwatch League next season. Two big announcements coming out of 2K Games, especially if you’re into golf. First, 2K has acquired Canadian developer HB Studios in a deal that should close by the end of the month. HB Studios is best known for The Golf Club franchise, which they’ve been working on since 2014. The Nova Scotia-based studio has frequently worked with the big sports game publishers in the past, including EA on Madden NFL, FIFA, and NBA Live games, as well as 2K Sports on PGA Tour 2K21....
