In what has amounted to a seemingly eternity-long development cycle for fans of the Diablo franchise, Blizzard announced this week that Diablo 3 finally has a hard release date: May 15, 2012. While fans eagerly and perhaps impatiently wait as the days dwindle down to the launch, Cowen & Company analyst Doug Creutz is predicting Diablo 3 will sell extremely well, to the tune of 5 million copies in its first year alone....

Following news that frustrated (or maybe just anti-BioWare) Mass Effect 3 gamers bombarded the user review section of Metacritic - effectively dropping the user scores for the game to abysmal 2.5 (PC), 4.7 (Xbox 360), and 3.2 (PS3), respectively - we’re now getting word of another controversy that’s brewing. According to reports, Mass Effect 3 “fans” are outraged at a particular in-game image that’s used in conjunction with fan-favorite character, and love interest, Tali’Zorah nar Rayya (aka Tali)....

Just who is that chipper young beaver named CJ? We take a deep dive to find out. CJ is a new character in the Animal Crossing universe. First appearing in New Horizons, CJ replaces Chip as the host of the Fishing Tournament, which happens every third Saturday during certain months (depending on which hemisphere you live in). Since he’s replacing Chip, the name CJ is thought to be an abbreviation for “Chip Junior” as it implies CJ is Chip’s son....

Users of Apple Maps can now use the app to find places to park, although only if they happen to be in the United States or Canada right now. Apple hasn’t yet said if the feature will roll out internationally, unfortunately. The new feature, which is built into the Apple Maps app on iPhones, pulls data from the parking platform SpotHero and offers information on more than 8,000 different parking locations....

Due to the addition of numerous features and dinosaurs, Studio Wildcard states that the upcoming ARK: Survival Evolved will be delayed into the 2016 holiday season. It’s been a bit of a wild couple of weeks for Studio Wildcard’s highly anticipated ARK: Survival Evolved. After initial fears that the game could be pulled from sale due to a lawsuit from Trendy Entertainment - which has since been thankfully settled - fans will now have to wait a bit longer for the full version release of the game....

A new DLC for Ark: Survival Evolved was just released called Genesis Part 2, and with it came new creatures to tame, such as the Maewing. You won’t be able to resist adding it to your collection as it was made for superior transportation. It is a cross between a Platypus and Sugar Glider and they are quite harmless even when provoked. It will propel you through the air and allow you to glide across the water with ease as no creature has before....

Probably the most frustrating thing about being a fan of film and television is that you don’t always have a say in who plays the characters you love and cherish, from either adapted books and comics, or in the plethora of remakes filmed over the years. Casting choices can make or break a movie in the eyes of fans, as can be remembered with the outcry of complaints when Ben Affleck was cast as Batman a few years back....

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey breaks the mold of the series by allowing the player to make decisions that affect the world around you. It is a true RPG, unlike its predecessors, with multiple ways the story can conclude. Naturally, the best ending to the game is a bit of a subjective consideration. But what the fan community considers the happiest, most positive ending for the game is the one in which all the members of your family are alive and reunited: Myrinne, Nikolaus, Deimos, Stentor, and yourself....

As though it weren’t enough to travel between hemispheres and continents in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, you’ll then be expected to navigate your own dreams. Havi, a person who looks and sounds suspiciously like Eivor, will become the player-controlled character and you’ll direct these actions to try and make some sense of what’s happening in reality. This area is elaborate, both in nature and architecture. It’s easy to get turned around and trapped inside of your own mind....

An extended trailer for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla was released earlier today with unbelievably gorgeous graphics. The latest addition to the long-running Ubisoft series will release sometime during the 2020 holiday season. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will release on the new PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, PS4, and Xbox One as well as Stadia. PC players will also be happy to have an exclusive release on the Epic Games Store, Ubisoft Store, Google Stadia, and Uplay+....

When it comes critically-acclaimed fantasy epics, The Lord Of The Rings franchise has some of the biggest and most creative fans compared to other titles in the category. J.R.R. Tolkien’s brilliant mind gave birth to such an imaginative and colorful world after all. Of course, Peter Jackson’s visually-stunning The Lord Of The Rings film adaptation only helped propel the popularity of the series to astronomical proportions. The fantasy epic was beautifully translated onto the silver screen which earned itself hundreds of awards in just three films....

As TCG fanatics will know, Yu-Gi-Oh! is one of the most beloved and longest-running card games out there. Which make perfect sense, really. In the anime itself, the battles are completely preposterous, with Godzilla-esque beasts storming around the virtual battlefield, and it only follows that a real-life version would be a great success. Although Microsoft’s E3 2017 conference covered a wide number of factors, from games through to the big talking points of the Xbox One X release date and final specifications, many were left hoping that Halo 6 would make an appearance. Off the back of the next Halo game’s non-appearance as part of the presentation, 343 Industries has given an update on the status of the project.
