The Dragon Ball franchise came back in a really big way recently. That isn’t to say that the series ever waned in popularity… as what is undoubtedly the most recognizable anime franchise in the entire world, Dragon Ball had permanently supplanted itself into the collective conscience of fans everywhere, leading to countless cosplays of fitness-focused fans trying to replicate Goku’s physique (and, less successfully, his various hairstyles) while online forum members would argue the internet’s oldest debate of whether he could beat Superman in a fight (although lately it’s been One Punch Man’s Saitama that tends to be pitted against the Super Saiyan)....

The Merc with a Mouth is back with another live-action superhero movie, and this time he’s putting together a crew. Not the Solo: A Star Wars Story kind of crew, but a group of rag-tag mutants who are likely to be as off as Deadpool is. They did let Peter join the X-Force, after all, who doesn’t even have any mutant or superhero powers. He does have a stellar mustache, though....

Friends was on the air from 1994 to 2004 but it has remained in our lives even more than 14 years since its season finale. The show is arguably the biggest sitcom of all time, rivaled perhaps only by Seinfeld. The show holds up so well that the modern youth is still very well acquainted with it and calls for a reunion, despite the cast being in their fifties now, still run wild....

A game could get perfect scores across the board, or garner nothing but mockery, but anyone’s experience is going to be subjective. Who is to say that you cannot love a title with a 30% on Metacritic? Conversely, every gamer has dropped their hard-earned cash on a “masterpiece” that failed to hold their interest. Magic: The Gathering has thrived in the past several years, but more than ever lately in its digital forms. These two programs would be Magic: The Gathering Arena, an extremely recent digital version of the game available on the Epic Games Store, and Magic: The Gathering Online, the original Magic client that’s thrived online and been consistently updated since the early 2000s. Both are great programs for a great game, but each provides an incredibly different Magic: The Gathering experience, each with different strengths and appeals....

Gamers eagerly awaited the reveal of the Playstation 5, not only for its look and the games that will be available, but for its price. This console follows the Playstation 4, which made its debut at E3 in 2013. Sony finally unveiled the brand new system and its price in September. It has an official launch date of November twelfth, 2020. PS5 pre-orders sold out almost immediately, including the digital edition that does not include a disc drive, as well as the full version....

Last week saw the official unveiling of the sequel to 2010’s Medal of Honor. Titled Medal of Honor: Warfighter, few details are available for the game outside of the fact it’s being developed entirely by Danger Close Games this time around which we hope will translate into a less disjointed experience and hopefully, something new for the series and genre. We also know that the story of Warfighter will again follow Tier 1 Operators on their engagements, and that its multiplayer modes will at the very least include some form of co-op play....

Honour was a commodity in the Old West. Those without it were feared and those with it were respected. In a time when an outlaw was only as good as their word, it makes sense that Red Dead Redemption 2’s honour system has made a return in Red Dead Online. Your honour dictates the type of missions you’re offered, with scumbags offered killings and burglaries, and white knights offered more noble jobs....

Although Fallout 76 is one of the worst user-rated AAA games in Metacritic history, talk of its lack of quality has been completely overshadowed by the current situation regarding Bethesda and false advertising. Since Bethesda’s bait-and-switch involving a nylon bag has been publicized, the situation has spiraled out of control to the point where Bethesda is being investigated by law firms and advertising authorities worldwide. One of those authorities, the Advertising Standards Authority (ASA), has just responded to a complaint regarding Bethesda’s use of false advertising....

With the release of every DLC, Borderlands 3 gets a new batch of Legendary weapons. That trend continues with BL3’s latest DLC, Bounty of Blood: A Fistful of Redemption, and indeed there are some very powerful new guns to obtain. After yesterday’s patch update for Red Dead Online, Rockstar Games announced a third Outlaw Pass for Online players. This pass will be available for players from now until October 19th, 2020. Red Dead Online launched the first Outlaw Pass back in the fall of 2019, and they are paid season passes that give players a boost in-game. There is also a free club that players can join to also give plenty of freebies just for playing the game called The Wheeler Rawson & Co....

Ubisoft’s upcoming Immortals Fenyx Rising, formerly known as Gods & Monsters, was officially unveiled at the Ubisoft Forward event. This new open-world adventure will see players tackle the fearsome beasts from Ancient Greek mythology. While the game isn’t due to release until December 3, preorders are currently live with some great bonuses attached, and there are two editions of the game to choose from. GPU supply issues continue to plague PC gamers all over the world as Nvidia’s new RTX 3060 has pretty much vanished since launching last week, but competitor AMD wants to challenge the market in both performance and availability when the new Radeon RX 6700 XT goes out for sale March 18. AMD graphics cards launched at the end of last year were targeting much higher budgets, as the RX 6900 XT, 6800 XT and 6800 were priced at $999, $649 and $579, respectively, though the listed MSRP would hardly matter for scalpers after even the White House has been forced to address GPU shortages....
