Zack Snyder’s Justice League is by many standards a unique film, and that partly comes down to it being the only movie to get so drastically remade for viewers to compare it to another version. Considering many of the differences between Joss Whedon and Snyder’s came out of the editing room, there are really few people better qualified to do so than a team of VFX artists. Indeed, whether it’s more obvious things like Steppenwolf’s extreme makeover, new scenes, and the different aspect ratios chosen for each Justice League; or be it down to more intricate details like the way some scenes are shot and how the camera lingers for just an extra couple of seconds in certain moments....

The Game Awards for 2020 is premiering this December 10th and will show off plenty of new games players can look forward to playing next year and beyond. Part of the marketing campaign for Call of Duty: Black Ops - Cold War was the alternate reality game Pawn Takes Pawn. The game started when influencers were sent crates with old-school slide projectors inside that eventually led us to the reveal trailer for Cold War. Apex Legends developer Respawn Entertainment has decided to remove the “tap-strafing” technique from the popular battle royale, and the decision has only fuelled an already heated debate between console and PC players regarding the benefits of controllers vs. mouse/keyboard. What is tap-strafing? Well, I recommend checking out a YouTube tutorial (such as this one) if you want a better idea of what the technique looks like and how to perform it, but it’s basically an advanced movement technique that allows (or allowed) Apex Legends players to change directions quickly in the air without losing forward momentum....

Now that Apex Legends Season 1 is officially underway, all eyes are on Octane and the evolving tier-100 Havoc weapon skin. As the legal battle between Apple and Fortnite’s developer Epic Games continues, it looks like Tim Cook will be joining the fray.
