Among many other brand new features in the Assassin’s Creed universe, Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla will apparently feature historically accurate Viking rap battles. So while your blade will certainly come in handy throughout the game’s story, it sounds like your words will be used as a viable weapon as well. Why might Assassin’s Creed include such a feature? Well, because Viking rap battles actually happened. Historically known as “flyting”, the traditional Norse competition consisted of exchanging insults in a poetic fashion, and it was widely practiced during the time period....

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is an Xbox Series S and Xbox Series X launch title. It’s releasing on November 10 for Microsoft’s next-gen machines, as well as PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
