In the late ’80s and ’90s, Sega enjoyed a golden period of success. The Sega Genesis became a hugely popular console in America and Europe. Although it faced tougher competition in Japan from Nintendo’s Super Nintendo, games like Sonic the Hedgehog, Altered Beast, Golden Axe, Streets of Rage, and a range of licensed sports titles made the Genesis a zeitgeist-grabbing hit in the west. While Pokemon moves keep their general concept intact most of the time, the specifics of how they function aren’t set in stone. Nintendo’s hit mobile game Dragalia lost has hosted some pretty cool crossover events with other Nintendo IPs, like Fire Emblem. However, the gacha has yet to venture out into crossovers with other properties until now, as Sega announced Persona 5 Strikers would steal hearts in Dragalia Lost later this month. Just last month in December, fans discovered files that hinted at a crossover with the Atlus game. Redditors uncovered several characters in their datamine including Joker, Morgana, Panther, Sophia, and Arsene....

However, the Joker’s political views are quite extreme at best and sociopathic by normal standards, yet none of that is stopping YuuSuke Kawai from running for office in full Clown Prince of Crime attire. Kawai’s governor bid aims to put him in charge of the Chiba Prefecture, located in the Kanto region (yes, Kanto, like the Pokemon region) just outside of Tokyo’s outskirts towards the East....

The long-awaited DLC for A Hat in Time on PS4 and Xbox One is finally here and will launch for those systems at the end of March. As reported by GameSpot, both of the DLC expansions already released on PC and Nintendo Switch - Seal the Deal and Nyakuza Metro - will be available to purchase on PS4 and Xbox One on March 31st at 11am PT/6pm GMT. Developer Gears For Breakfast posted the announcement on Twitter earlier this week and informed Kickstarter console backers to fill out a survey on the game’s official Kickstarter page to receive their codes....

Freshly announced A Plague Tale: Requiem will bring “the next generation of rat hordes” to your gaming device. To deliver the most convincing depiction of small rodents in huge numbers, Asobo Studio took advantage of new hardware at its disposal. A direct sequel to action-adventure A Plague Tale: Innocence, Requiem is built upon the idea of unstoppable force, coming from swarms of carnivorous rats. These pests already were sort of the primary antagonist in the first game, both vital to its combat and puzzles, and the devs already had to perfect their hive-like behaviour on screen....

It seems that Hollywood is willing to give any famous franchise a movie, as New Line Cinema is making a feature length Space Invaders film. According to Deadline, the movie is being penned by Greg Russo, who is also working on the upcoming R-rated Mortal Kombat movie as well as the reboot of the Resident Evil movie franchise. Space Invaders will be produced by Akiva Goldsman, Joby Harold, and Tory Tunnell....

One of these confirmed series from ABC is The Wonder Years over 30 years after the original debut. The Wonder Years aired from 1988 to 1993 as a comedy-drama following the journey of a boy named Kevin Arnolds growing up in a suburban middle-class family....
