Among Us has been a surprise success, exploding in popularity two years after its release. In fact, dedicated Among Us fans are now creating their own “Crewsonas” to be closer to the game. InnerSloth—the developers of Among Us—recently tweeted out that they have been extremely happy to see the number of people playing the game. Of course, the team of three mentioned that they didn’t expect the traffic that the game is attracting, which has led to prioritizing server performance over anything else....

The Moogles are one of the most iconic aspects of the Final Fantasy series, yet they were partly inspired by an unusual source, as Moogles exist due to an old Dungeons & Dragons rule about non-humans being able to see in the dark. The early games in the Final Fantasy series were heavily inspired by Dungeons & Dragons, to the point where the first Final Fantasy game had to be edited for its western release, as one of the boss monsters looked too much like a beholder, which is a copyrighted part of D&D....

Tom Nook is the head of Nook Incorporated, and the raccoon who runs a player’s life in Animal Crossing: New Horizons. He hands out tasks as well as hands out island upgrades for an insane amount of bells. This character is a staple in the franchise and many love him despite his greedy nature. Some fans have created pieces of fan art in his honor that depict him in his true form....

With the Summer Update - Wave 1 for Animal Crossing: New Horizons, players get to see the brand new otter character, Pascal, floating around the sea, looking for scallop snacks and willing to trade some rare items for them. So some players combing the depths of the ocean for critters are asking the question: should scallops be saved in bulk? The otter Pascal was introduced to Animal Crossing: New Horizons just a few days ago, and with the ability to swim and dive, players are tasked with finding scallops for their new red friend....

Quickly becoming one of the site’s biggest streams of the year, US representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (or, as she’s better known, AOC) joined the likes of Pokimane, Corpse Husband, and more for a stream of Among Us. The broadcast turned out to be a unanimous success for everyone involved, showing off AOC’s endearing personality and endorsing the masses to go vote in the recent presidential elections. It seems AOC had such a great time playing Among Us that she’s already considering jumping back onto the game very soon, with a new stream featuring the congresswoman set to take place later today....

Recently, Apex Legends developer Respawn Entertainment nerfed two of the most popular guns in the increasingly popular battle royale title, with the Wingman and the Peacekeeper getting tweaks. As far as the Peacekeeper is concerned, its Shotgun Bolt re-chamber rate has been reduced. Both guns are also slightly harder to find in the game, and when it comes to the Wingman, popular Twitch streamer Shroud has some criticisms. Shroud acknowledges how Respawn wants Apex Legends to have a certain skill curve and weapons that are designed to be quick throwaways, so he begins his critique by stating that not buffing the Mozambique was the least of his worries....

Apex Legends burst onto the battle royale scene in February of 2019 with excellent reviews. Surprised launched by Respawn, it was instantly considered one of the better battle royale games on the market, and since then, Respawn has continued to support the game by adding creative Legends, unique and varied new guns, and even a fresh map. One of the most exciting changes in the game came in September of 2019 when Respawn revealed that the game would be altered with a brand new location to fight, that being the addition of World’s Edge with Season 3: Meltdown....

Apple has reportedly cancelled the iPhone SE and will not release a new model in 2024. Renowned industry analyst Ming-Chi Kuo claims sources within the supply chain have been told by Apple that it will no longer proceed with a fourth-generation version of the entry-level iPhone. This has a two-fold effect on future Apple plans, he revealed in a Medium blog post. First, it scraps a popular line of iPhone models that started in 2016 and was updated as recently as last year, with the iPhone SE (2022)....

Original story follows.] The wait for 2020’s installment in the Assassin’s Creed franchise has been arguably the hardest that fans have had to face yet, at least not since the gap between 2015’s Assassin’s Creed Syndicate and 2017’s Assassin’s Creed Origins, which saw a complete overhaul from iconic publisher Ubisoft, shifting the series from its action-adventure open world roots to a completely fleshed out action RPG style....

The next installment in the Assassin’s Creed franchise is only a few weeks away. Many are looking forward to exploring the Viking era world that Assassin’s Creed Valhalla offers, which will follow main character Eivor as they attempt to conquer England. Valhalla is expected to have a large open-world map, but just how many regions will be explorable is still relatively unknown. Recent information about Assassin’s Creed Valhalla has revealed that the story will follow Eivor as they raid England to establish a settlement for their people....

Sequels can be a tricky business in the gaming industry, for a number of reasons. There are a ton of expectations to meet, especially if your sequel happens to be the follow-up to an already established success story. Unlike the standard Hollywood model of sequels typically being underwhelming, video games tend to be more of a mixed bag with sequels. While there are certainly many cases of blunders, there seem to be an equal or greater number of successes....

Hollywood loves pitting monsters against each other. We have Godzilla vs. King-Kong, Alien vs. Predator, Dracula vs. Frankenstein, and even Sharktopus vs. Ptreaccuda. Some of the latest news coming out of Bethesda has sadly focused on a questionable legal claim their lawyers made against Mojang, creators of Minecraft, about the title of their next game (Scrolls). That amusing, yet unfortunate situation however, does not detract from what will certainly be a contender for game of the year in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. 10 days ago we posted a gallery showcasing screenshots for all of Skyrim’s playable races and today, Bethesda is helping us out by releasing a massive gallery of preset faces available for the ten playable races in Skyrim....

Whether you were a Nicktoons fan, a dedicated Cartoon Network watcher, or a bit of a channel-hopper, there were plenty of animated shows to get your teeth sunk into! It’s honestly kind of amazing just how important Vegeta has become in the context of Dragon Ball’s greater narrative. Introduced as the main villain in the seventh arc of a ten arc manga, Vegeta went on to quickly dominate the story’s screen time, even surpassing Goku in the Cell saga. By the end of the Buu saga, he was the series’ definitive deuteragonist, standing tall next to Goku right to the very end....

Too many times has the same thing been said over and over again — pro wrestling isn’t real, and there’s little to no value attached to watching something that’s so fabricated. It’s understandable why most people would have this image of pro wrestling, since the first impression that this particular category of sports entertainment gives isn’t exactly flattering. Fallout 3 was Bethesda’s first attempt at bringing more gamers into post-post-apocalyptic America. The series had previously been restricted to PC users.
