As popular franchises go on longer and longer, prequels eventually come into the picture. Once a new entry takes place in the past, the developers run the risk of creating certain continuity errors. The eight entries below either do not make sense in their canon because of some obvious errors, or they do not make sense because of important characters who are mysteriously never brought up again. None of these points brought up are necessarily saying the game is bad, however....

At long last, Grand Theft Auto V’s online heists have hit, offering digital criminals hours upon hours of fresh multiplayer mayhem - assuming that players can log in. Since the highly anticipated heists came to consoles earlier this week, Grand Theft Auto Online’s servers have been hammered by players eager to try out the new content for themselves, leading to a myriad of connection issues. The recently-released second wave of the Animal Crossing: New Horizons Summer Update has brought back dreaming to the much-loved life simulator, making it even more charming than it already was. With this cool new feature, players can now visit dream islands created by other players. Each dream island created and uploaded online will generate a unique Dream Address which you can share with others, allowing them to visit your dream island when their character goes to sleep....

BioWare issued a response to a flood of criticism regarding Anthem’s loot system following the stability and quality of life patch from March 9. In response to requests for BioWare to ramp up the quality of loot drops in Anthem, BioWare head of live services Chad Robertson responded on Twitter, acknowledging that BioWare, too, is “not yet fully happy” with Anthem’s loot. But while he points out that BioWare has “significant changes” planned, they might not arrive for a few months....
